Chapter 2.
Damon's Desire
They say I have to go to rehab

The drive was better than the actual arriving to Mystic Falls. Nothing as changed, same school, same sheriff and same Grill. Then the same Elena and Stefan.

They must have known I was on my way. Both were outside as if waiting for me to pull up.

Sometimes I wonder why I come back here when I do.

I stepped out the car and walked over. Elena looked gorgeous of course. Her hair was shoulder length and straight. Same color except for some blond highlights. She had not gained a pound. Stefan on the other hand seemed to look older. Or was that just his evil frown wrinkling his forehead?

Yes it was.

"Brother, what's with the old grin?" I asked smiling at his upset expression.

"What was so important that you made your way over here?" Stefan asked.

"Can't I visit my brother and his wife? Don't worry I won't be here long. I hate this place more than those silly ass matching rings you guys decided to wear." I teased pointing to their wedding bands.

Elena sucked her teeth and walked into the Salvatore boarding house now known as the Gilbert Salvatore mansion.

"You just know how to make an entrance." Stefan said.

"Are you blaming me? Wow, nothing changes in Mystic Falls. Don't you recall giving me the evil eye when I first pulled up. If I knew any better I would think you were having some dieting problems." I hinted his lack of blood intake.

"What do you want?"

"Nothing just bored. Looking for something to do before I head back to Vines. Any new things happening here?" I asked wondering if vampires or other supernatural things have been going on.

"Nothing we can't handle." Stefan crossed his arms.

Not one happy expression yet.

"You are so cold. Loosen up. You should be happy you're married. Yay!" I cheered throwing my hands in the air sarcastically. "It must be just wonderful." I smiled clasping my hands together.

"Actually it is great. You should try it." He said walking to his front steps. "If you could even manage that." He smirked.

I placed my hand over my cold heart.

"Oh that hurt. No actually it didn't. We both know you're the soft one. I prefer to be uncontrolled by my dinner." I smiled briefly.

We both walked into the Salvatore home.

"What! Wow this is nice." I commented sarcastically.

Still shocked by the recent decorating disaster in the house.

Elena sat on the white sofa covered with soft fluffy brown cushions. It looked as if teddy bears landed all over the place. The walls were now white.

So much white. Where did all the nick-knacks go, all the collectors that this home had over the years. A female obviously lived here.

White walls, sofas, teddy bears and flowers, good grief.

"This is something. Who decorated? Was it you Elena?" I smiled at her with my Damon eyes.

"We did it together. What do you want Damon?" Elena asked walking into a kitchen.

We both followed her. I was stunned to see there was an actual kitchen in use.
