Chapter 19 

The reason

 (Next morning with J.)

I took J to see Chris her agent. I stayed behind while they talked at an old mom and pop shop.  It was such a weird night. I had feelings of guilt and happiness all at once. I watched her sleep peacefully clueless of what went on the whole night. Thoughts of things they (Lock) did ran through my mind. Right on her back was always a reminder of what she once knew to be her love. Waking up this morning was even worse.  She completely went into shock to see this mark on her. I again had to compel her. I told her she has had that tattoo since she was 22. I hated treating her like a robot but I had so much catching up to do.  I had compelled her so many times since she came back. It would make her calm and care about me as she used to. J walked over to me with Chris her agent. He seemed concerned about something. I got out and introduced myself.

"I'm Damon Salvatore. Nice to finally meet you." I told him.

"Interesting, my girl here thinks we met. I recall that day very well. That was Mason Lockwood."

"Who is that? I told him I never knew anyone like that." J laughed rubbing Chris' back.

Chris beamed his eyes at me.

"J why don't you wait in the car. I would love to talk to Chris for a while." I told her.

"Ok well be nice. See you later Chris." She said blowing him a girly kiss.

Chris smiled and turned his eyes back to me. I took him by the shoulder and began walking away from my car and J.

"What is going on? Where is her boyfriend Mason. He was supposed to be here. How come she doesn't know him?" Chris asked overly concerned.

"I'm not sure. We have been together for a while." I told him turning to face him.

I blocked his steps.

"I think it's best if you give Santana some time to her work." Chris said.

He looked at me waiting for my response.

"I am her boyfriend and have been since the hotel incident. Mason and J have never been together. She was always with me. Mason is nothing but a resident that she has never heard of. Don't talk to Jaysi about him ever." I compelled him.

"I won't talk to her about Mason Lockwood." 

He snapped out of it.

"It is nice to meet you too. She seems happy. I unfortunately have to go. Tell her I said good job and I will see her at the school in a few days." Chris said waving as he walked away.

I walked back to J who was sitting in my car looking through her phone. She looked puzzled. I sat beside her and tried to get her attention.

"What are you looking at?" I asked putting my seat belt on.

She did not answer.

"J! What is wrong?" I asked agitated.

"I have some weird pictures in-" I grabbed the phone before she could finish her sentence.

"What is wrong with you?" She asked upset.

I looked through the phone filled with pictures of Lock and her. They must have been at the beach. I started deleting the pictures and his number. Even Tyler's number also.

"What do you think you're doing? Can I have my phone?" She asked holding her hand out.

I ignored her and tried to find everything I could of Mason and Tyler.
