"Oh shit.", Karlie suddenly said, looking at the watch, that was hanging on the wall behind Taylor. It wasn't too long after Kimby, Kariann and Kristine had left them alone and Taylors head was still hurting slightly. By now she had managed to figure out what atom Karlie had drawn her earlier (even though it had required a few hints and encouraging words from the model), but that hadn't changed her mood at all. Therefore she was more than glad, as the words, that escaped Karlies mouth, finally had nothing to do with the subject of chemistry. She had waited for this moment to happen, from about two pages of notes ago.

"Fuck, we are late.", Karlie sweared, while carelessly stuffing the things, they had spread out over the table, somewhat together, so that you were able to see the tables surface again. She was standing by now and Taylor was once again surprised by how tall she was. Her bun had gone a little messy over the time, multiple strains of hair had fallen out of it and now bobbled around her gorgeous face.

Quickly Taylor stood up as well, closing the books and putting them in one pile. The notes she had made got stuffed together, careful not to put any folds in them, and then she carefully put them in her bag.

"KARLIE YOU READY?", someone, whose voice was familiar to Taylor, yelled. The girl was sure that it must have been one of Karlies sisters, she just wasn't quite sure which one though.

"JUST ONE SEC.", Karlie yelled back and then looked at her guest. "I have to go get ready real quick. Are you okay here on your own?"

Taylor simply nodded and sat down on her chair again, watching Karlie sprint out of the kitchen and up the stairs, taking two steps at one time. A little after, Kristine entered the kitchen, she was already dressed up. Taylor could smell that she had renewed her scent. It made the guest feel almost a little underdressed in her black turtleneck and simple black jeans. Maybe she should have not listened when Cara claimed that a skirt would have been "too much". Unfortunately it was kind of too late for that resolve now, she had to make the best out of what she was having.

"You know actually, we still have some time.", Kristine confessed, her hands were lazily laying on the table. "We are just trying to balance out Karlies continuous lateness, by pretending to have to leave earlier than we actually have to."

Taylor raised her eyebrow. "Is she really late that often?"

"All the damn time. She almost never eats breakfast for that matter."

Taylor smiled at that and made a mental note to eventually bring the model some breakfast to school, if the time would seem right. She had yet to figure out what Karlie would like as breakfast, but that would eventually come over time.

"What were you studying for again?", Kristine asked after a short moment of silence.

"Uhm, chemistry.", Taylor replied, playing nervously with her fingers. She liked the Kloss sisters, all of them, but she had never been good at social interactions. The older she grew the more she had come to notice that. So, as much as she enjoyed talking to Kristine, it was also simultaneously a challenge. There was a lot to loose if that ended badly. Also there was that never ending fear of sending out the wrong expression, for example that Taylor didn't like her opposite, which was definitely false. Stop it, Taylor had to tell herself. You are overthinking again. "At my old school the standards must have been a little lower.", she finally managed to reply.

"Wait you are in the same course as Karls right?"

Taylor nodded. It was the first time that she heard Karlie getting called by a nickname. Karls. It sounded cute.

"Mr. Woods standards are a little higher than usual ones. Don't worry about it.", Kristine assured her, tilting her head softly.

"Mr. Woods?", a voice suddenly asked. It belonged to Kimby who was now entering the kitchen, sitting down on a stool next to her sister. "Fuck that guy."
