Yes, this is actually new.
------------------------------------------
Taylor had been told multiple times not to mess with the Klosses. Almost everyone had told her. Cara had, Jourdan had, Gigi had. Everyone. It was like a secret code. And Taylor had never understood its origin. Until now.
She had not intended to mess with the Klosses, but nobody with sense of logic probably did. Everybody could see it was a bad idea. Though to her defense, it wasn't her fault. It was a chain of unfortunate events, led by Tom Hiddleston. Who at least for now had let Taylor alone. The only good thing that ever came out of this situation.
Taylor had tried to explain that to Karlie, tried to tell her what actually happened, multiple times, but the model was surprisingly good at avoiding her. Somehow she had always found a way to go away before Taylor could start the explaining. The fact that her sisters were always buliding a human wall to shield Karlie didn't make it simpler.
The payback itself was a lot bigger than just ignoring Taylor though. The sisters did their best to show why they shouldn't be messed with. It had all started on a quiet Monday morning, the Monday after the party. Taylor had made herself go to school. Her eyes had still been a little puffy from the crying and they had sort of a red tint, but it wasn't like she had a choice. She needed to go to school, there was no way around it. She wasn't the kind of person to skip.
So when Taylor walked through the halls, with hanging shoulders, she somehow missed her locker. Now at first that wasn't too much of a surprise to Taylor. She hadn't been going to this school all too long, she wasn't used to where her locker was yet. So she simply walked back, this time inspecting each of the lockers carefully, searchign for hers. But as it turned out, there was a reason why she had missed it. The locker itself was still there. But there was another problem. It's door and with that the actual lock was, well, gone.
Her mouth fell open. Where the hell was the door to her locker?! She looked around, searching if someone maybe had the same problem. But she seemed to be the only one. The only one with a removed door.Luckily all her stuff was still inside. Her books and folders all were still there, sorted as carefully as they usually were. There was no note or anything in it, but Taylor didn't need that. She pretty much knew who had caused it. It could have only been the Kloss-Sisters. Everybody had warned her to not mess with them. Taylor had heard they were the kind of person to do similar things.
It was probably meant as a metaphorical message. Her safety was gone. She had no protection. But to be honest, that made it only more scary.
For lunch she now sat with Ed and Selena, not because Cara, Jourdan and the others didn't want to sit with her, but because for now the Kloss-sisters always sat with them and even just the thought of having to bare their angry looks during lunch was causing a sickening feeling right in the bottom of Taylors stomach. She wouldn't have been able to take it for a full hour. Besides, spending lunch with Ed and Selena was fun too. They weren't always alone, in fact most of the time other people were also sitting at their table, for example a girl called Emma Stone. She had red hair, a nice smile and her face covered in cute little freckles. She was also a part of the drama club, just like Selena. Actually a lot go the people eating lunch with them came from there. Her and Taylor luckily hit off quite well. She was funny and polite, a little curious but not too noisy. and even though the girl enjoyed spending lunch with Emma, Ed and Selena, it still wasn't the same as listening to Cara's goofy jokes and seeing Jourdan's attempts to not laugh about it. It wasn't the same as sitting with the sisters, hearing them all drag each other, it wasn't the same as sitting to Karlie and holding her hand.
And to be honest, Taylor really missed that.
Another thing that changed now was, that everybody was staring. Everybody. Of course, being the new girl, Taylor had gotten quite a few looks before. But they were different from now. Back then they had been curious. Maybe confused. Surprised. Now they were looking down at her. Metaphorically of course, she was quite tall. Those looks were judging her. They were building a barrier. They weren't accepting her.
