Choosing the right outfit was once again something that was more in Abigails skillset, than it was in Taylor's. So the singer didn't hesitate at all to just call her oldest friend up and ask her for a little help regarding this topic. Abigail would know what to wear. She always did. And, luckily for Taylor, she was everything but unoptimistic about it. Abigail loved helping Taylor out with her fashion problems.
The two were facetiming each other, Abigail laying on her bed, ready to do nothing, Taylor running around, trying to find an outfit for a party. The picture quality was arguebly not the best, but it was good enough. They were just picking out clothes.
"So....will you be going to the party with your girlfriend?", Abigail asked somewhere in between and wiggled her eyebrows. Taylor smiled at that. Girlfriend. This was such a nice word. How come she had never noticed that before?
Of course Taylor had shared the news with Abigail right after her and Kalrlies movie date. And then once again after Karlie had officially confirmed that they were dating. Just because she was so excited about it.
Abigail was excited about it too. So excited in fact, when Taylor had told her the news, she had squealed of happiness and then forced the blonde to tell her everything. Which Taylor had obviously loved to do.
So it was no surprise that Abigail was insanely curious as to wether Karlie and Taylor would go together or not. And insanely happy when Taylor replied with a short but telling "Yeah".
"NICE! You are not only going to a party, but also with your girlfriend. Oh my god, Tay! You are popular!"
The blonde shook her head. "No, I'm not." Karlie was popular. Being a model, being a member of the volleyball team, being outgoing and confident. Everybody loved her. But Taylor? She wasn't exactly the loser anymore, or the victim of bullying, but she wasn't popular either. Average. She was just average. That fit it well.
"You got invited to a party!", Abigail continued her reasoning. "That's cool-kid stuff."
"No, it's not.", Taylor shook her head. "I didn't even get invited by the guy who's party it is."
"Maybe, but you got invited by your insanely gorgeous girlfriend with legs longer than our friendship. That is definitely an experience for popular people."
"No, it's not! Unpopular people have girlfriends too!"
Abigail really seemed to be determined to win this argument. "But not one who is a model!"
"That was just pure luck mixed with a wonder and some Cara.", so was Taylor though. "Also having a model girlfriend has nothing to do with being popular."
"Do you even hear yourself talk?", Abigail asked, shaking her head in disbelief.
"Fortunately.", Taylor said back and then held up one of the items from her closet, so Abigail could see it through the camera. The two were skyping once again.
"Umm.", Abigail was mustering the pair of jeans Taylor was currently holding up. "Can't go wrong with jeans. Altough you might be a little under dressed with them. Considering it's a party. But that changes depending on your top. So put it on the maybe-pile."
They had began starting clothes into three different section. The no-pile, aka. back to wherever the clothes came from, the maybe-pile and the yes-pile. Well the yes-pile was still fictional as they hadn't decided on a single time yet. So actually, there was only a maybe-pile....But they were trying to change it!
"Nope.", Abigail shook her head, causing her red curls to fly around the air. Taylor just nodded agreeingly and put back the red jacket she had once bought only to notice how ugly it was. She had hardly ever worn it. But still couldn't throw it away for whatever weird reason.
