Turns out...I am not dead yet. I was just lazy.

Now, with a plan in her mind, Taylor had gained some new-found optimism. She suddenly had something to do instead of just sitting it out and wait. She had something to work on. A way to fight for herself and especially a way to fight for Karlie. She had a chance for a happy ending.
Of course she was also nervous. She was incredibly nervous, anxious almost. Even just the thought of it made her breaths shorter, her heartbeat increase and her palms sweaty. What if it went wrong? What if Karlie would still be mad? What if Karlie wouldn't even let her execute her plan? There was so much to worry about. So much to lose.
But she had a plan! She finally had a plan!
As soon as the plan had come to her mind she had called up Ed. Excited as he was he first cheered, happy that she finally figured something out. Then he went on to ask her as many questions about it as just humanly possible. Taylor didn't have many answers at that time, she hadn't thought it through very well, it all was just nothing more than a simple idea. But together they worked it out. Together they made it a whole cohesive plan. A plan that actually seemed like it could work.
Then they introduced it to Selena, who was just as excited about it and even brought in some new ideas. Together the trio also drove to the store (Ed luckily had a license and could borrow his parents pick-up truck) and bought all the things they needed (and maybe a little more because they all three loved buying cute things too much to control themselves). Besides, the more the better, right?
From the store they also managed to get some free pallets (which the pick up truck came in very handy for) and ended up spray painting them black in Taylors backyard. Smart as they were they forgot to put some sort of mat under it, which caused the grass to end up with a few black spots. Taylor's parents werent very happy about that, but they eventually calmed down after Taylor apologized and offered to mow the lawn once it was long enough.
A very crucial step was also to borrow a suit for Ed. Luckily this had been his idea so they didn't have to ask him to wear the suit. To be honest that was kind of strange almost, Ed didn't seem like the kind of guy who enjoyed wearing suits but he made it seem like that was an aspect they couldn't ignore. On the morning of the execution of their plan, the three drove down to a store and got Ed the cheapest tuxedo that fit his tiny body and a tie that fit his red hair. He did actually look quite elegant in it!
"Man, I look so....responsible.", he had noticed when he had inspected himself in the mirror.
Selena had nodded. "You should become a spy!"
"I totally should!"
Unfortunately that would not be possible in this exact suit. They would have to return it the next day.
After they had Ed's suit, Taylor put on her outfit. It had obviously been planned during a skyping session with Abigail, who Taylor had explained her plan to. She loved it and had called so romantic that "Karlie has no choice but to take you back. Otherwise I will come over and personally kill her." Taylor had argued that this was a little extreme, but Abigail had instead just called it "suiting".
A big problem was, that Taylor couldn't count on any help from Karlies sisters. She had tried to ask them for a chance to make it up, but every time she even just approached them, they turned around and walked in another direction. And if that wasn't possible for whatever reason, they just ignored her.
So instead she got some help from her brother and, unfortunately, Tom Huddleston. She wasn't exactly excited about asking him, but Selena, Ed and her had agreed that he at least had to be there so he could comfirm that Taylor's story was true. Unfortunately he was the only one who could do that, otherwise Taylor never would have asked him. And when he was already there anyways he could also pretend like he was useful and help.
