Only a few days after Karlie's and Taylor's - more than sucessful - movie date, the two sat once again inside the Klosses kitchen, at the large wooden table, both on opposite stools. It was the second of their sessions which had the simple purpose of teaching Taylor the basics of chemistry, so that she had a chance of catching up in class. Needless to say, Karlie was a lot more motivated than Taylor was. Or ever would be, probably. Unlike Taylor, she really was into chemistry. And Taylor was sure, this came from some kind of secret whichcraft. There was no other possibility as why anybody would be not only good at chemistry, but actually like it. Especially with such a teacher.

"So Cara told me about your deal. The real one.", Karlie suddenly announced, while Taylor was still pulling out her stuff. The smaller of the two had arrived about only ten minutes ago, Karlie had greeted her with one of her big bear hugs and her sunshiny grin. And then a kiss. It was a short but loving one and it caused all the butterflies in Taylor's stomach to freak out. Along with that she also blushed deeply, which Karlie couldn't help but comment on.

"You're blushing!", she had exclaimed and had pressed down on Taylor's cheek with her index finger. This had left a white bloodless mark for a few seconds until the blood had rushed back into the spot, coloring Taylor's skin reddish again. Karlie couldn't have helped but chuckle at that.

"Cute.", she had commented, which hadn't really helped Taylor's blushing. In fact, it had only made it worse.

Now, about ten minutes later and a room further, the smaller girl froze at the sentence that had just escaped her brand-new girlfriends mouth. The one asking about Caras and Taylors deal. Her folder was still Taylors her hands, slightly hovering over the table now as she looked up, the emotion of panic building in her face. "Oh.", was all she managed to bring out. She could feel her cheeks heating up violently. This was exactly what she had tried to avoid so very desperately. Why couldn't the brit just keep her damn mouth shut for once? It wasn't that hard.

"So", the models expression was something questioning. "That means we won't have any dates in the future? Until Cara manages to score the point?", Karlies voice had a neutral tone to it, Taylor couldn't manage to figure out whether or not she was in a positive or negative position towards this stupid agreement. Which, to be honest, only made Taylor more nervous.

"Actually, it was only about Cara trying to bring us together. And I mean, she kind of succeeded already.", the new girl said slowly.

Karlie looked down and nodded "So you say the deal is over?", she asked innocently, still not really showing any emotions regarding her point of view on this topic. Still, there was a hint of her typical smile on her face. Probably just out of habit.

"I think so, yeah."

By now Taylor had succeeded in putting out her folder and therefore had completed her task. In other words they could actually start with the studying now. And it was now big secret, that Taylor was very far from being excited about it. Why did Chemistry have to be so utterly boring again?

Karlie seemed to have noticed the same, because instead of continuing to ask questions, she opened up her, a little dusty, chemistry book, flipping the pages.

And then they started studying.

There was no denying in Karlies competence as a teacher, she was actually surprisingly good at that. She could explain even the more complex parts so simple that Taylor managed to understand at least the basics of what was going on. And after a few rounds of Karlie repeating herself and just as much questions from Taylor, she understood not only the basics, but also pretty much the whole process. If Taylor would have to describe their studying sessions in one word, she would have used efficient. Because they were.
