"You two are giving me my own place?" I raised my eyebrow. They nodded. They really want me to be comfortable. "Alright." I bent down to grab a box. I picked it up and handed it to Tyler. I did the same for Josh. The boys didn't wamt me carrying any boxes down the stairs. "We enrolled you into 8th grade. You start on Wednesday." Tyler told me quietly.
I sighed and nodded. I'm going to turn that extra room into an office. I'm going to need it. "You will be picked up and dropped off at your job everyday." Josh explained. Great. I have two days to unpack. And one to get my school supplies. I did online school for most of my life. I just stopped because Rita broke my laptop. That bitch didn't even have the audacity to replace it. "That's everything. I'm going to do an extra round, then return my keys to Rita."
Josh nodded and I started my extra round. I grabbed my headphones and plugged them into my phone and blasted Happy Song through them. I locked the apartment. I ran the keys to the front office for Rita. "See you in a week." She sneered, snatching the keys from my grip. I rolled my eyes and slammed the door on my out. "Stupid bitch thinks she can fucking be like that." I cursed getting into Josh's car. "We'll pay for everything but you need furniture and shit. You have a bed, desk and kitchen table." I nodded.
"How much money do you have saved up?" Tyler questioned randomly. "Half of it goes to my college fund. That half is about 6,000 dollars right now. And the other savings is 5,000." I explained. We pulled into a 3 story house with an apartment above the garage. Stairs spiraled all the up to the apartment. It looked beautiful. "Tyler and his wife Jenna stay on the first floor. I am on the second floor and the third floor is our studio and other shit." Josh toured me around while Tyler put all the boxes into the apartment. We're going to get furniture today.
"Thank you for adopting me, but I am a handful. Plus I have trust issues. I think Rita told you." He nodded. "And I'm willing to try to get you to open up."
