I set the taco shit on the table. "Dinner is served fuckers." Josh gave me a look that said 'stop'. I sighed and sat down quietly. Everyone took turns getting their food, and I was the last one to get my food. "How was your girls days?" Ethan attempted to make small talk. I shrugged and busied myself in eating. "Our days were fine. Thank you for asking." Kim told him before kicking me. I almost choked. Ethan nodded and gave me a weird look. "How was your day at the studio?" Sam questioned the musically inclined boys. They shrugged. "It was good but tiring." Josh answered for them both. Everyone finished about the same time. I got up and collected plates so I could do the dishes. Kim said bye to the boys before they left. She came in to help me. "You barely talked at dinner." I shrugged. "I wasn't in the mood." She made a noise but didn't pester me anymore. "I am going to go shower!" Ethan shouted after I turned the water to the sink off. "OKAY!" I shouted back.

Sam followed Ethan in, leaving Kim and I alone. "I know there is something bothering you." I sighed at looked down. She grabbed my hand and brought me into our bedroom. "Tell me." She demanded. "It's not fair that the boys have been together for like 2 weeks and they already fucked. Plus Josh gave me a fatherly look." Kim nodded. She knows how I feel about being parented. I don't have parents as far as I am concerned. "I don't know about you, but I really don't want to have sex then break up a week later." I nodded at her words. "I'm just overreacting." She got up only to sit in my lap. She sat so she was facing me. "Maybe in a couple of months. But not now." She out her head on my shoulder and we sat like for what felt like hours. "Hey you girls okay?" I heard Ethan ask. "We're fine." I spoke quietly.
He walked in and smiled slightly. "You really love her huh?" I nodded. "She brought a whole new happiness I have never experienced." He laughed. "Sam fell asleep right as we got out of the shower. I'm going to go to sleep too. Don't stay up to late." He left, closing the door behind him. I sighed and leaned back onto the bed, with Kim still cuddled into my embrace. And that's how we fell asleep.

I woke up to Kim poking me on the nose. "Morning Sleeping Beauty." I laughed quietly and sat up. She sat up with me. "We have work with the new person for about an hour then back to yours to pack your things."
