Hello peoples. Sorry for the long wait for this chapter. I know if I were to be reading this story then I would be really annoyed that Chapter 10 hadn't come a little sooner. Again sorry! I just haven't had much inspiration.
Take a look at hottie Drake over there (Alex Pettyfer I LOVE YOU!) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I smoothed down the front of my white dress and took a furtive glance up at my reflection. And…I liked what I saw. Not in an ‘I love myself and no one else’ kind of way but a satisfied ‘I’m not so bad’ way.
The rapid knocking at my door made me jump and laugh quietly at myself. Why was I so alert tonight? Oh I know, I know! It’s because you’re walking STRAIGHT INTO THE PIT OF DEATH, my mind warbled to itself as I went forward to open the door.Cam stood behind it all dolled up.
“Oh honey you’re absolutely breathtaking,” she sighed.
I didn’t know about breathtaking but pretty summed it up much better. The dress had been a tight fit and although at first I was unsure (I had never worn tight clothes before) I steadily grew to love it. As I had expected, it matched well with the nude pumps. I had tried my best to style my hair a little differently and had settled for a ‘slept-in’ effect. It wasn’t intended to look like I had just woken up but somewhere somehow; I had used too much volume thickening mousse (Cam’s not mine) and I had ended up liking it much better than at first. Flicking my bangs over my head every now and again left me feeling as sexy as hell and a little tiny voice inside my mind whispered that I deserved it. I tried to keep my make-up to a minimal but I ended up experimenting a little. Instead of the usual black eye pencil I always used, I went for the liquid eye liner and drew a large flick on my eyelid. I thought it looked hugely flattering and coupled with my rose pink lips, a good move.Camseemed to think so too.
“Gosh look at your face. Such perfect make-up. And the hair! I adore it. Maybe you can help me get ready next time.”
Camgave me a shining smile and twirled around in her below-the-knee, halter-neck silk dress. It was flattering onCamand she wore it well. It was in a simple duck-egg-blue shade and the skirt had a ruched look. Her blonde hair was set in a messy bun with strands of hair falling out here and there. Her make-up was minimal and I noticed that her lips were the same colour as mine.
“You don’t need my help. You’ve managed to make yourself flattering all on your own.”
Camcovered her mouth with her fingers and smiled at me. She fingered the edge of her dress and said, “Do you really think so?”
I give her a reassuring nod and smiled right back at her.
“Are you ready?”Camasked me, looking down the corridor to her bedroom door where Richard was inside trying to choose a shirt.
“Yes.”
“Good. Why don’t you go get Banjo ready for the night – try not to spoil anything on your dress - and say your goodbyes? As soon as I have Richard ready, we’ll be down.”
I skipped down the stairs and the nervous feeling in my stomach resided a little. Banjo was sniffing at his bowl as I called his name. This time his head perked up and he looked straight at me, his tongue lolling out of his mouth.
“Are you hungry?” I asked him, picking up the dog bowl anyway. My dress rode up my thighs and I hastily pull the hem down. That might be a problem.
