We left for home not long after that oddly puzzling moment when I read his mother's thoughts. We talked to Mora about the scent change when we got home.

“That is how you tell if someone is expecting. Even if they don't know it. If humans had our sense of smell there wouldn't be any reason to end up in the hospital and the doctor tell you your in labor and you didn't know it.” she said.

With that she went back to the bookshelf and picked a large book and began to read. We headed home and that's where we stayed. I had not shifted since I found out about the little life growing inside me but I didn't plan to either. I had no idea of what would happen to my child if I shifted. So we just sat and watched shows about children. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and relax for once. I wasn't even bothered by kicks and stretching. Seth fell asleep on the couch so I sneaked upstairs and took a shower. When I got out I looked at my stomach and saw stretch marks from the rapid growth. I looked under the counter and right beside the pregnancy tests I saw another little box and inside was a note.

Mercy,

If you ever have marks show on your body that are hard to remove, just put this on them. It is the essence of roses, aloe-Vera, and oranges it should remove them. But don't use it during a pregnancy because it doesn't work well with the ones that are going to show up in a day.

Yours truly,

Mora

“She must have thought of everything. Good God's it's odd to have so many necessary things even when you don't know what they are for half of the time.” I said to myself.

I put it back and went to get Seth after I dressed and we fell asleep when we hit the pillows.
