We walked back into the room and sat Amy and Hanna down. They were curious as to the stressed and agitated looks on our faces.
“What's going on?” they asked.
“Um...I'm not quite sure how to say this, but... we have to change you into Shape-Shifter's. We'll need your help with this war coming up, and your future shows you as Shape-Shifter's.”
“Okay. Go ahead. We know about you, and we trust you.” Amy said.
“If the future says it, then who are we to stand in its way?” Hanna finished.
“Okay, let's change you as soon as possible.” I said and shifted into a smaller version of my Ancient form but with wings.
Well? Climb on, we can't change you in here. I need the space. I projected my thoughts out loud.
My breath's were like low growls, deep in my chest as I projected my thoughts. I kept my face blank as they hesitated. I huffed and shifted into a small dragon and made us able to go through walls as I looked to Seth.
I have made us able to go through walls. When I say to, just toss Amy to me, I have to grow a little. You handle Hanna.
He nodded.
I shook myself and ran straight to the window and jumped out, phasing through the wall like it was butter. When I was clear I grew a bit. I reared back my long snake-like neck and roared, telling Seth to toss her. Soon Amy came flying out the window, arms and legs flailing, screaming at the top of her lungs. I grabbed her middle, as she landed in my claws she grunted. Seth came out in the same form as me, with Hanna already in his claws. Soon all of us were in the air and I snaked up towards the roof. We dropped them as I flew close to the roof and we landed a few feet in front of them.
“You could have been gentler.” Amy said as she stood.
I rolled my eyes.
Your probably going to hurt more than that in a moment. And you were being stubborn. I thought aloud as we shifted into our regular sized wolf forms.
“Now hold still, Amy.” I said.
She gulped and I ran toward her, as I took off I tasted metal and then I sprang. I landed on her and bit her shoulder, she screamed in pain as my teeth cut into her. Hanna was horrified.
“Amy!” she screamed.
When Amy went limp I released her. She was bloody, and so was my muzzle. I turned to the terrified Hanna.
“Sorry. But this gives you twice as much freedom as them.” I apologized, then I sprang on her.
I grew back to my normal size as I got off her. I licked my muzzle clean, and we shifted back to the dragon forms. We laid down and our natural growling breaths were the only sound as we waited for them to change. I studied the shining silver color of Percy's scales and the milky white of Seth's, then the swirls on my twins wings, they went from the white streak down their backs and curled out from in between their shoulder's and out onto their wings. I focused on the girls who'd moved. I puffed out a breath of hot air out of my nose. Amy sat up and rubbed her now healed shoulder, then Hanna did the same.
“Is it done?” Amy asked.
Yes. We thought to them.
“Should we try to shift into what you are?” Hanna asked.
We nodded. They focused on us and soon Amy was a red dragon and Hanna a chocolate brown dragon. Now that we all were the same species we spoke the same tongue.
