Just as hyerin was about to lose hope, the pervet was literally flung off her. She collapsed onto the floor, in a complete mess. Her shirt was torn and tattered at the hems. Hyerin was sobbing incessantly, completely ruined by the shame from earlier on.

" don't touch my girl."

Her saviour growled as he grabbed the pervet by his collar. With that, he kneeled down beside hyerin, taking off his flannel and draped it across her shoulders before carrying her out of the place. Sitting on a bench at the park, by then hyerin was fully conscious already. Sobbing quietly into her palms, it was dead silent around then except for her sniffs.

" dan-dan-niel... Thanks "

hyerin sniffed as she choked on her tears, wiping away the beads of salty pearl-dropped shape liquid on her face. She tried stop her cries but to no avail, tears continuing to roll out of her hazel eyes.

" I'm sorry- "

Daniel apologized as he faced the girl, wrapping his palms around the back of her head as he brought her closer into his embrace. For some reason that made Hyerin sob even harder. As she buried herself in his chests, tears continued streaming down, wetting his shirt. She had never felt to vulnerable before.

" I'm sorry "

Daniel apologized again, letting out a deep sigh as he continued stroking her hair.

" hey it's not your fault, not like you were that byuntae or something. "

Hyerin forced out a laugh as she wiped his shirt that had a patch of wet spot because of her tears. Daniel's blush seared through his cheeks and for a minute he thought his face was on fire. Somehow, her words and actions were so comforting, perhaps, just perhaps, he found himself strangely drawn to the girl. Hyerin waved her hands in front of the zoning-out boy,

" hello kangbitch? Why's your face so red. "

She chuckled as she poked his cheeks playfully, making Daniel go even redder. Abruptly standing up, Daniel awkwardly gestured for hyerin to stand up as well, rubbing his nape nervously,

" come on let's get you home. "

It seemed that nothing happened to Hyerin the next day, the bright and cheerful girl remained unchanged, as though she was thoroughly unaffected by what had happened yesterday. As usual, Hyerin was one of the earliest who had arrived in school. As she walked out of class to receive her textbooks from the locker, she heard a faint smooching sound that came from the end of the hallway, at the staircase. Her curiosity piqued, who would be the early couple in school, making out in the staircase?

Hyerin cautiously tiptoed to the end of the hallway, peering through the slit of the staircase door which was semi open. She let out a gasp upon seeing who they were, her eyes widened in shock, or horror. Maybe her gasp was a little too loud, it directed their vision towards the girl who stumbled backwards before her back hit agaisnt the wall.

Hyerin turned around immediately, brisk walking away from the scene. She couldn't tell how she was feeling, she was just, confused. Too late, the boy had already spotted her. He merely sent her a smirk, before turning his attention back to the girl he was kissing.

Hyerin staggered her way back to class, still confused and in a daze. For the whole day, Daniel ignored her the whole day, not even a hi. He moved from behind her, to the seat next to the girl he kissed in the morning. Hyerin was not affected by the gossips around her that she and Daniel had broken up, instead, she was utterly confused by why the boy was treating her to coldly.

It was after lunch, as hyerin was walking in to class, her eyes were fixed on her device, not watching where she was heading towards, when she felt someone in front of her. Shifting her gaze, her eyes met with his. She gave him a warm smile, but all she received was a dirty stare from him.

Breaking their gaze, Daniel walked past hyerin, bumping into her shoulders. Hyerin stumbled as she fell onto the floor weakly, letting out a little gasp. No, neither did he extend a helping hand, nor even a apology. He merely walked away nochantly.

Just yesterday, he was holding her as though he was holding his world, and now, he's treating her as though she was non-existence.
