Shortly, Hyerin was discharged from the hospital since she was showing signs of recovery, in which Daniel was finally able to heave a sigh of relief after being assured. But it didn't seem like she was having any forms of improvements. In fact, she was getting frailer by the day. At days, she would be pale as a ghost, face masking the ordeal inside. All the bruises she had developed from the needles pierced, she had grew extremely weary from all the treatments.

It was another day with Hyerin being too weak and tired to even lift herself up from the bed, let alone dragging her body out of house for a date. She knew she had missed out on spending time with Daniel, but what choice was she given? Hyerin had just managed to force her eyes open, greeted by the shining lights. Every time Hyerin filled her lungs with another deep breath; every morning when she was greeted by the dazzling sunlight that streamed into her room, peeking through her window shades, diffusing swirls onto the blue vinyl, giving it the impression of being a small sea shimmering in the early summer light, the first thoughts that filled her mind was " ah, I'm still able to enjoy the sweetness of living on this planet that mother earth has entitled me to. "

Hyerin no longer blamed anyone for her misfortune, she no longer blamed the illness for knocking on her door when there were billions of others for it to visit.

But she felt exceptionally thankful that day. Under the gentle spring sun, its rays warmed her skin - like kisses from the divine. The nascent leaves have that soft green and the ground is scattered with vivid blooms whose petals dance in the breeze. Hyerin woke up to a stranger hugging her from behind, their fingers carded in between each other's. She broke into a wide smile as soon as she took in his sweetness. His unique cologne that Hyerin had slowly grew to love. It was undoubtedly none other than her boyfriend.

Hyerin never expected herself to have cuddly mornings with him again, it all seemed like a dream. Yes, a sweet dream. She quietly rolled to her sides, facing him. It seemed that Daniel was woken up by her action, but all he did was to pull her closer into his embrace, eyes still closely shut, just enough to signify that he wanted to sleep in a little more.

It wasn't easy for Hyerin to wake the sleeping boy up. After bugging him for almost an hour, Daniel finally reluctantly peeled his eyes open.

" Morning. "

Daniel greeted with his morning husky voice, making Hyerin break into a wider smile as it had been long since she had seen his morning sight. His hair all ruffled up, eyes barely open, Hyerin found this scene extremely cute. Her boyfriend somewhat reminded her of a fluffy puppy. For some reason, they started reminiscing the past, starting from how Hyerin hated him for starting a groundless rumor of the two of them dating.

" Hyerin, do you know what I'm the most scared of? "

Daniel suddenly questioned. The whole morning, he had been taking in her sweet laughter, the way she painted a ray of sunshine over her face, her genuine smile that illuminated his world brighter than the sun rays gifted from the sun itself. Daniel looked into her eyes, captivated once again by the hazel eyes in which he had grown so fond for. Hyerin stopped all her giggling, sensing that the latter had turned all serious.
