None of them raised the topic about them dating, neither did they deny to being together when questioned.

" DANIELLLLLLL "

Hyerin screamed as she pounced on her boyfriend, throwing her arms around his neck, planting kisses on him as she suddenly appeared in front of his house one weekend.

" whoa chill there babe "

Daniel laughed, clearly overwhelmed by her skinship. He took her by her hands and pulled her into his house, flopping on the sofa next to her.

" so, why'd you come today? "

Daniel teased as he pinched her nose, making her pout.

" I don't know either. It's just feels like a snuggly-kind-of-day-"

" and I wanted to see you. "

The couple somehow decided on watching a horror movie; trust me, it wasn't a good idea. In broad daylight, with their curtain drawn, the only sound you could hear was hyerin's dolphin-pitched screams. More than half of the time, being a scary-cat, it was either hyerin burying her face in Daniel's shoulders, or jumping onto him as she slapped his shoulders real hard.

It wasn't easy until Daniel finally calmed the screaming girl down. Daniel collapsed on the sofa, totally tired from trying to cope with Hyerin's endless energy. Hyerin huddled beside him, wrapping her arms around his waist.

" Daniel? "

Hyerin looked up, her face turned serious, eyes meeting with Daniel's.

" hm? "

Daniel hummed in reply.

" will you ever forget me? "

Daniel gave her a confused look, raising his brows.

" Nah. Never mind. Take it that I did not ask that question. "

Hyerin sat up, giving her boyfriend a soft peck on his lips, giggling. Daniel suddenly wrapped his hands around Hyerin's petite waist, pulling her closer to him until she was sitting on his laps. He looked into her eyes, breaking into his famous bunny-tooth smile.

" I will remember you even in afterlife. "

With that, he kissed her and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested on her waists as their breaths mingled. She ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest. They pulled away from the kiss, smiling. Hyerin rested her head on his shoulders, savouring his sweet smell that smelled like mint chocolate, yet with a tinge of musculanity.

" I love you so much babe "

Hyerin whispered into Daniel's ear.

But please forget me.

Life resumed for them, all was well. Since Daniel had been busy preparing for his upcoming MMO audition, hyerin was frequently left alone in school, with Daehyun alone. At the same time, she had gotten close to their school's student councillor president, Euiwoong.

It was another typical day, with Daniel walking walking hyerin home. But his face was glum, with every step he took, he dragged his feet. Hyerin figured out that something was wrong, the once bubbly and noisy boy hasn't talked to a good ten minutes. Holding both of his hands as she made him face her, Hyerin asked,

" What's wrong? "

Daniel hesitated for a while before letting out a huge sigh,

" I got accepted into MMO "

Hyerin literally jumped onto him,  She planted a quick kiss on his cheeks as she squealed,

" I KNEW YOU'D DO IT BABE. WHY ARE YOU STILL SO SAD "

Daniel let her down, cupping her small hands in his big palms.

" wait for me. "

Daniel said as he stared into my eyes, getting teary.

" I will wait - "

I gave him a small smile, I could feel the tears in my eyes threatening to fall any moment.

Maybe I was just so scared to lose him,

Closing my eyes, I let tears roll down my cheeks without any intentions of holding them back.

I let myself fall, and buried myself into his embrace, sobbing incessantly as I let tears go, dampening his shirt.

He gently stroked my hair, patting my head with the other hand. Daniel rested on my crown, I could feel my hair dampened. He was crying.

Pulling away from him, I cupped his face in my palms, wiping his tears with my thumb.

" Do me proud. "

I gave him a weak smile, but some part of my was screaming not to let him go. Daniel pulled out a necklace with a ring to it, holding it in his palms, he promised,

" it's a promise ring. My promise that I'll never leave you. "

I nodded my head gently as he fastened the silver chain around my neck, fumbling around the neck of his shirt, he produced another one around his neck.

" it's our promise "

This was supposed to be comforting, but even I couldn't figure why tears were streaming down my face. I looked up at Daniel, forcing a smile out.

" Daniel, you know I love you so much, I won't hesitate to do anything for you? It's like you're already a part of me. "

I sobbed;

" I will wait, "

But please don't make me wait for too long.
