Hyerin squeezed her eyes shut, her ears burning red in embarrassment and anxiety. But the strangest thing happened - it wasn't that abnormal, but yes, she never reached the ground. It was exactly like a scene that came out of the movies. She opened her eyes slightly, peering to the side to identify her ' saviour '

They locked eyes for a moment, him still supporting her waist. Hyerin blinked a few times, a strange queasy feeling growing within her, like someone was tying a knot in her stomach.

" girl are you getting off me? You're getting heavy. "

Euiwoong coughed as he teased her jokingly. Hyerin immediately scrambled to her feet, mumbling a quick thanks before rubbing her nape awkwardly. All those times they spent together, it was the first time Hyerin's heart actually fluttered. Euiwoong glanced at Hyerin up and down, repeating this as he repeatedly blinked his eyes. She shot the boy a weird look, scrunching up her brows as she snapped,

" what? "

Euiwoong immediately shook his head, mouthing a " nothing " before he let out a small chuckle. Not exaggerating, but she really looked different from her usual self. The sloppy and dull Hyerin was replaced with a elegant and on-style one. She glanced around before pinching Euiwoong hard on his elbow, causing the latter to flinch and whince in pain.

" Euiwoong, I think I'd better go... "

She stuttured as she tried sneaking away, but was caught by Euiwoong. Gripping her by her wrists, he hissed a quick no before pulling her into the venue. Hyerin cursed silently under her breath as she unwillingly sauntered into the ballroom, following closely behind Euiwoong.

Turned out that Daniel was one of the performers that night. No wonder Hyerin was having a hard time trying to spot him in the throng of people. Decked in a smart suit with his hair dyed chestnut brown, he was simply smart, and good looking. As much as Hyerin hated to admit it, he really took away her breath that evening. Daniel, together with his friends around him, took a bow towards the audience before sitting down on the seats prepared for them. He cleared his voice before introducing he and his band mates, earning a thunderous applause from the audience.

" and this song, is dedicated to a girl, who appeared in my life, turning it into a wonderland - the name of this self-composed song. "

His eyes darted around the room, trying to spot the girl who turned his life into a wonderland. It was almost impossible to spot her, but he did. His eyes glistened under the spot light, like a layer of glass forming over it. On the other hand, her eyes were constantly fixed on him. As they locked eyes, she barely managed to keep her tears in, sniffing softly as she quickly fanned herself, trying to stop the tears from rolling down. Time seemed to stop as they gazed into each other's eyes, everything around them turned into a blur. It was as though they were communicating and kissing with their shimmering eyes.

Moments after, they finally tore gazes away from each other. Daniel coughed slightly before sending a small nod to his band mates, giving them the cue to start. His raspy voice made it sensual, but his voice was sweet, like a tinge of  honey mixed in it.

Quick update because it's the weekends (((: this story is getting weird help;-; I'm getting writer's block ㅠㅠ save me. ( and yes, that's wonderland by Yongguk and Shihyun! For those who haven't listened to it, do give it a shot! I really love to listen to it in the morning and before I sleep because it's real soothing! )
