chapter 5

* haley and holly and ross are all 8 now . there are 3 more chapters until the dramatic goodbye . the story will take off from there . if you want to skip go ahead i can't stop you . but if your enjoying these chapters then thank you and here is my next chapter *

" no ! they go over there . " i tell ross . right now we are setting up my little brothers 1st birthday party . it's at our house in the back yard . it's a basic  blue themed nothing special . ross is hanging up the giant blue 1 . Haley , mommy , and rydel are making blue cup cakes . Hannah is hanging up decorations with riker and Ryland . ross and rocky are doing what i tell them too . and i am telling everyone what to do with a piece of paper mommy gave me that is basically a lay out . there is a big blue table that holds all the food which consists of food colored sandwiches . vegetables trays . fruit trays . chips. dip . cookies. the cupcakes . and hawiian  punch blue . with those little sprinkle table glittery things in 1 shapes. there are 1's everywhere . we have tables and chairs set up out side in blue table clothes . there is a present tent . and where Henry and Harvey are gonna sit under another blue tent . we ordered some inflatables . a bounce house and a slide for us kids . it's gonna be so much fun ! . " HOLLY ! ROSS ! YOUR NOW IN CHARGE OF CUPCAKES ! HAYLEY , RYDEL , AND I ARE GOING TO THE STORE !" mommy yells at me . " OKAY !" i yell back . i run over to riker and hand him the paper since he is the oldest and i skipped back inside with ross. there was a batch in the oven already . " alright we need to make at least 20 more cupcakes . so we need to start especially since each pan only has 8 cupcake holders. get me so flour please " i tell ross. " where is it " he asks . " top shelf above me " i tell him he nods and climbs on the counter to reach it . "  ROSS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOUR NOT SUPPOSED -" i was cut off by a puff of white smoke pouring on me . i was as white as snow on white tennis shoes . " to climb on the counter " i frown as i finish my sentence ross bursts out laughing at me . this makes me angry . i stomp off to the fridge and grab 3 eggs . i crack them on the counter and pour them on ross's head . he stop laughing as soon as he felt the trickle of the yolk . i bursted out laughing at how funny he looked . " holly " he frowned . i kept laughing . " fine " he walked over to the oil and poured the entire bottle on me . i was slippery . when i tried to run after him i fell down on the ground knocking over some cupcake batter and spilling it on me . this made ross laugh harder . i frowned and started cracking more eggs in a bowel . i but a bunch of flour in it and some water . i walked over to ross , who was laughing on the ground, and poured it all over him . " your gonna get it " he smiles . i run away still laughing . ross was chancing me hot on my heels . i ran into the back yard and ross followed me . soon he stopped chasing me and grabbed a hose . " prepare for revenge " he laughs . he turns on the hose and points it at me . he got me all wet . but at least he was washing me off . i was soaked head to toe when he finished spraying me . " oh yea " i marched over to him he backed away from me letting me get to the hose . i turned it on and sprayed him in the face . then i washed him down and made him as soaked as i was . " HOLLY THOMAS GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE NOW !" it was mommy . me and ross exchanged glances nervously and we walked into the kitchen to see mommy with her angry face on . " what happened in here " she asked sternly . " ross spilled flour on me cause he climbed on the counter . so i egged him and he oiled me . then i floured him back and , and , and ......" i trailed off . she gave a frustrated sigh . "what am i gonna do with you 2 . " she slowly shook her head . " holly go upstairs and change , ross go home and change and when you are done i expect you to clean up this mess and get the twins ready okay " she told us . we nodded and went our seprate ways . i went upstairs to my room and closed my blind . i picked out a blue tank top and light blue shorts . then i wore my converse with the color blue on them . i dried my hair and re-poney tailed it . then i walked back down stairs and grabbed a mop . i walked into the kitchen , mop ready to clean . i placed the mop down and mopped the floor so it was spotless . ross came in and started to wipe down the counters. then all of a sudden he just broke into giggles . " whats so funny " i ask . " you looked so funny " he laughed . then i remembered him and broke into giggles too . " whats so funny " he mimicks me . " you looked weird and constipated " i laugh . we just sat there having a giggle fit for a few minutes . " sorry i poured flour on you " he apologized . " sorry i egged your hair " i apologize again . " friends ?"  he asks . " always " i hug him and finish wiping the floor . he finished the counter and we went upstairs into the twin's room . i pick up Harvey and ross takes Henry . " common  they're  clothes are in here " i tell ross leading him into a small closet . " they have to match " i tell him . he nods and points to an outfit that has a yellow ducky on it . " no ross it must be blue " i veto it. he points to another one with a blue button down shirt . " a baby wearing that when he is gonna plunge his face into a cake " i look him . " your right what about this one " he points to one that is a cute blue onezie with a truck on it that says you drive me crazy on it . it was adorable . i nodded . he picked it up and went to put it on Henry i looked for the one that matched it and put it on him .i took the cute baby in my hands downstairs and put him under the tent where he was supposed to be. mommy glanced over at me and ross putting the babies in there chairs and smiled walked  over to us . " great job with the outfits guys they look adoreable . i have to admit even though you are messy children you were a big help today thank you for that . now if you could let the guests in we can get the party started okay " she told us . i nodded and skipped inside to get the door . all my family came in . my aunts. my uncles. all my cousins. my friends from school . and mama storm and mister mark . i hugged everybody and told them to go to the back yard . they followed me and ross outside and departed . " you thinkin what im thinkin " ross asked me . " bounce house " i asked . he nodded . we ran over to the bounce house and jumped for hours. we did a jump highest contest and a back flip contest and a don't touch the red floor contest . it was supper fun . " wanna go make friendship bracelets asked him . he nodded and we raced outside to the bracelet table . i got yellow and blue ribbon and wove them together . then i added beads in this order : yellow , pink , yellow , yellow , yellow , yellow ,  pink , yellow . i slipped each bead on one by one then i put in letters . R+H forever on it . ross made me a pink and blue ribbon bracelet with the same bead pattern as mine but his had H+R forever on his . they both looked like the ones you would buy at the store . they were made out of plastic and everything too . i admired the bracelet ross gave me and i slipped it on . " we never ever take these off okay " i held ot my pinki to pinki promise . " never ever " he wrapped his pinki around mine . that made me giggle . i hugged him and he hugged me back . he is the bestest friend ever . " FOOD IS READY LINE UP !" mommy spoke . everyone that wanted food lined up in a straight and orderly line . " what do we do know " he asked . " let's find Hannah , Hayley and Rydel " i tell him . he nodded and we searched through the crowd to find them . " over there " ross shouted . they were at a table talking and eating . we walked over there together and sat down with them . " there you guys are , where were you " Rydel asked us . we showed her our arms reavealing our bracelets . " those are so pretty . that's so cool i want one " Rydel smiled . " Holly i got you a plate " Hay pushed it over to me . it had a sandwich , a cookie, a cupcake , some chips , some dip , and she brought me some punch . " thanks Hay . " i give her a hug and start to eat on my sandwich . " i got you something to ross " Rydel handed him a plate and drink . on his plate he had a sandwich and chips and a cupcake . " i want  a cookie " he complained . " i didn't know sorry ross " she frowned . " here have half of mine " i gave him half of my cookie . " aww thanks " he gobbled it up in no time . " you guys are cute , ya'll are gonna get married one day . " not uh . we don't like each other that way ." he protests . " yea we only friends " i say through my food . " you say that now " she sighs . " what do you think Haley " rydel asks her . " deffinately " she smiles and nods . " Hay why do you think that " i ask her . " you hang out all the time . " she shrugs . " that means nothing " i tell her . i finish up my sandwich and eat my chips . " whatever ...... so when do you think the babies will eat the cake " she asks changing the subject . " i don't know maybe after we eat . and after presents " i shrug . " or now " ross says looking at the babies . mommy brought out a cake for both of them and started to get them to eat it . she took pictures of them looking dumbfounded and kept showing them the cake was good . it was quite hilarious actually . i bite into my cup cake and then stand up . " what are you doing " Hannah asks me . " showing the boys how a real baby does it " i answer simply and run over to the tent . i squeeze in fron of people until i am with the babies. " okay guys this is how you do it . i tell them . i look at my cupcake . and shove my face into it . i had cupvake everywhere . the babies started to laugh at me and then smushed their heads into the cakes . they came up with smiles on their faces and started face eating the cake . it was cute , funny, and awkward because i had cake on my face . i grabbed a napkin and wiped my face , and then i got another cupcake and ate in properly . i walked back over to our table where everyone was laughing so hard on the tables . " did you like that " i smiled showing off my cupcake mouth . they couldn't speak so they just nodded. i smiled and laughed along with them . this was the best day ever .

it was getting late so we had to clean up and go to bed . i said goodnight to ross and the lynches and went upstairs to change . i put on some jammy shorts and a night shirt . then i hugged my family and went to bed
