chapter 25

HOLLY'S POV

i woke up at 5:57 and its 8pm now. the boys have been outside under a tree for hours. rocky was holding his guitar and riker held a note pad and pen. they were just coming inside now and due to it being summer. they were all stinky and sweaty from the heat and humidity . " hey peoples " riker shouted. " i hope ratliff didn't eat all the food im hungry " rocky shouted . " holly wanna hug " ross asks coming closer arms and armpit stench wide open. " hold on there stinky. take a shower then we'll talk about hugs." i place my hand on his semi sweaty chest . " only if i get to kiss you " he smirks. " only if it's on the cheek " i tell him. " thats good enough for me " he started leaning for my cheek but i stopped him again. " i meant after your shower " he frowned. " fine" and with that he walked off. while i was talking to ross riker was whispering stuff to rydel. i don't know what it was but when i looked back at her she was wide eyed and in her fangirl mode. i laughed at her and she took Lauren out the room so they could talk . " so holly... what do you think about ross?" riker asked rocky and ratliff started to crack up. something weird is going on. " What does everybody know that i don't" i ask. " nothing. why ?" rocky shrugs. " mmmmkay ...." i hum. i don't believe that. something is definitely up. but i will find that out later. " why don't we play a game on black ops. " i ask. the boys agreed. we sit down and grab a controller.

~ 30 minutes later~

ROSS'S POV

i dry my hair and tighten my belt around my waist. i don't bother putting on a shirt. its hot anyways and it gives me an excuse to show of my abs to holly. i walk out of the bathroom to see holly , riker , and rocky playing black ops. rydel and Lauren fangirling . and ratliff..... well i don't know what he's doing. he has a bunch of food on his bed.he might be making a food fort or something i don't know. i walked past the fan girls get .. haha get is fan girls . anyway Lauren stopped me and pulled me aside by my bicep . " umm... hey to you too ?" i say in more of a question. " you are so sweet! just so you know any girl would be happy to have you " she squeals. is she talking about the song thing ? i bet one of the guys told rydel. rydel told Lauren and thats fine. as long as no one tells holly . i smile at them and walk into the living room . " great! your just in time for dinner " mom smiled as she walked out of the kitchen area. " ok thanks mom " i walk over to holly and pull her out of her seat. " i believe you owe me a hug and a kiss on the cheek"  she giggles and wraps her arms around my neck. i pull her closer and squeeze her in a bear hug . when we pull back she kisses my cheek and then i kiss her's. " finally " she chuckled and let go of me. " DINNER" mom called. we all lined up and grabbed our plates then sit down . holly and riker and rocky start there game again . rydel and Lauren continue talking and i watch holly play. ratliff continues doin who knows what . i must have been staring at holly for a while cause rydel and lauren were snapping fingers in my face. that didn't work . so eventually they grabbed my arms and dragged me away to the bunk room , closing the magic door behind us. we were in the room alone . " slap him " rydel said to lauren." hey hey woah woah woah no one is slapping no one " i say snapping out of my ...... blank stare ..... . " good your alive " my sister sighed. " yea and what am i doing here " i ask . " you were staring at holly. it was getting creepy " she explains. " oh ...... did holly notice ?" i ask . " suprisingly no . she was yelling at the screen NO YOUR GOING DOWN. EAT MY BRAINS ZOMBIE PLAYAS!!!!! PEWM PEWM PEWM !!! some girl you picked there ross " lauren laughed. i roll my eyes. " lets just be glad she was un focused " i sigh. " theres the so called spirt " delly playfullyhit my shoulder. suddenly the door opened revealing holly. " hey guys can i spend alone time with ross " she asked. wait. does she know and wanna ask about the song? aw man who told her. i need to buy time. what do i - " yea sure heall yours " lauren smiled and she and del walked out the room closing the door behind them. i fake smiled. " heeeeyy hooolly " i drag out . " heeeeyy roooss " she mimicks. " i thought you were playing your game ya know with the  NO YOUR GOING DOWN and the EAT MY BRAINS ZOMBIE PLAYAS!!!! and then the PEWM PEWM PEWM!!! " i ask . " oh well the your going down was re directed to me. the zombie playas ate my brain . and then pewm pewm pewm ran out of bullets . basically rocky killed me " she laughs. i laugh along at her weird explenation. ' what cha laughing at ? don't laugh at me !!" she pouts making me laugh harder . MAN ITS SO HARD NOT TO KISS THIS GIRL ! " i love y-" i cut myself off. " what ross? yo love what? don't leave me hanging now " she asks . " i-i i loved growing up with you " it was the first thing i thought of don't judge me. " aww well i loved growing p with you too can we not talk about that though" she asks. i know the past is a soar subject for her. not because i left her in the middle of the night. she's over that now. espeacially since im here now. it's because we spent alot of time with hannah and haley which holly hasn't seen holly since hannah's funeral, and the hannah's funeral thing explains itself .

" uhh ... sure. "'i smile at her and she returns the favor. " holly.?" i ask. " yes ross " she giggles cutly. " why won't you go out with me ?" i ask. she lets out a big huff. " because we need to -" i cut her off. " get to no the new us. but we have . for 3 months now " i tell her. she stays quiet . " whats the real reason hollister " i ask bumping her lightly with my side. " ross... we arent ready . your not ready. im afraid you won't be there for me like when we were younger. " she frowns. " holly -" " im done with this subject "'she says quickly leaving my thought to myself. " TIME FOR BED WE HAVE A SHOW TOMORROW MORNING!!" stormie yells. soon enough everybody came to out bunk area forbidding me and holly to continue. i climb into bed and holly moves to leave but i catch her arm. " stay with me tonight..... please " she looked un sure. " i don't know " she sighs. " it will be just like old times. sleepovers . " i tell her. " i guess it wouldn't hurt "'she climbed in bed with me and i wrapped an arm around her protectivly .she buried into me and we fell asleep together. just like that
