chapter 21

" HOLLY !OPEN UP ! " riker yelled banging on the door with the others. i locked myself in the back of the bus in the party room. tears streamed down my face . " HOLLY ! HOLLY PLEASE !" rydel shouted . " HOLLY COMMON OPEN THE DOOR !" rocky yelled . " HOLLY DON'T BE LIKE THIS !!" ryland shuffled out . " BABES YOU GOTTA COME OUT " ratliff said caringly . im am starting to like that guy he's cool . wait im getting off topic. " WE WANNA HELP " ross sighed . the only voice i didn't hear was laurens . and thats the voice i was waiting for . she's the one that started it . she's the one that will finish it . the ONLY one that can finish it . and im not coming out until i hear her beg me to come out . or to hear a simple' sorry' esape her lips . but no. she remains quiet .

ROSS'S POV

" WE WANNA HELP" i sigh. i turn around and lean the back of my head on the door . everyone around me was beggin her to come out and banging on the door. well everone except lauren who looked pale and was sitting all alone on her and holly's bunk . i walked over to her and stood directly in front of her. " why would you do that to holly " i ask straight forward . she looked up at me . her eyes sparkle with tears . " i d-didn't know " she stutters. " you ' d-didn't know ' why would even treat anybody like that . " i ask coldly. she looked a bit suprised but answered me . " i don't know she was acting like a know it all . i got pissed so i -" she stopped and sighed . " so you told her she was a liar because you thought she was lying . common who would lie about that kinda stuff  the personal things that make you who you are " i roll my eyes . " i don't i just- i just . i don't know " tears where sliding down her cheeks . " look holly is family to us . her parents don't care about her as much as we do . so if you ever make holly cry again or even hurt her . you will be put of the bus . you have to treat holly like a puppy dog . she is fragile but she is also innocent , cute , loving , and playful , she is funny and will cheer you up an help you out . but even if she appears strong and ruff you need to be gentle . she has feelings just like everybody else " i say thinking of holly . man holly . those where the good ol' days . we had so much fun together . we had fights but always made up .we were inseperable . but look at us now . i wish those days wern't over . " you like her don't you " lauren says snappng me out of my small trance . her tears where already wiped away and she was looking up at me ,her eyes still watery . " huh?" i ask confused. " you like holly . don't you . the way you just described her , the way you look at each other. you like her ?" she says again . " yes . i do " i say between scilence ." i really, really do " i don't know why but i smiled . " ross the way you looked at me before .your trying to push your feelings away .the feelings for holly . thats why she is hurting ross . she isn't hurting because her dad . not because of either of her sisters. not because you left her . but because you are pushing her away . you mean something to her . and she obviously means something to you ." she tells me . " why are you pushing her away ross" she asks . " im not " i say completly confused . " yes you are. you can't lie about something i already know . tell me why your pushing her away " she repeats not giving up . i sigh and sit next to her on th bed . " when we first saw each other that first night at the concert . my stomach felt butterflies . happiness washed over me . but then she got mad because of the note we wrote to ourselves when her brothers were born . she was angry at me . she was even more furious after she saw me with my old grlfriend amber . a few days later amber moved and told me holly was the one for me .i believed her  but  we got into another argument . eveytime we talk we get into an argument . i just don't want to hurt her anymore . no matter what i do thats always what happens. she gets hurt " i explain pouring out my heart . " do you think maybe she gets hurt not because you fight but because you don't show her the love and care she needs" lauren asks . " she is a puppy remember  you need to love and care for them . it makes them happy to have someone that shows affection " she tells me . " but when i try we fight " i frown . " fighting is one thing ross . but making up is another . you want to help your friendship or loveship ? be the heart that will do anything for her . lose most fights you have . after god put her first . her needs , her dreams , her wishes , her cares , wonders and disires . it doesn't have to be hard ross . it's only hard because you make it hard " she pats my leg and stands up ." now i have a person to apologise to " she smiles and walks away . i never though of it like that . maybe she's right . maybe i should care more for her . show her i love her . maybe we can start over again . i stand up and walk back over to the rest . " holly . im sorry . im really really really sorry for what i did . i was mean and cruel and said things i should't have . can you forgive me . i would actually like to start over . please give me a second chance to make this right " lauren begged  the door slowly opened and revealed holly . her eyes were tear stained and her hair was a mess . but honesly she rocked it . she smiled . " thats all i wanted to hear " she sniffled a bit and hugged lauren . " hi im lauren hayes i won the contest " lauren sticks out her hand . " holly reed . im R5's closet friend . im staying her for a few months while my family is vacationing " holly smiles wider and shakes her hand . lauren smiles back and ushers all the others out of the room . she looks at me gives me a thumbs up and closes the door . now the only people in the room was me and holly . here we go . " holly ? can we talk " i ask .
