(Origianl Title I know)

As Tallen and Jamie made their way to the third floor Tallen kept her mind from idling by concentrating back on the fight. If they were to get into another one they’d probably be over powered especially with the younger boy looking able enough.

The room was darkened, no window lined the wall and the beds were pushed together in the far corner. Noah sat icing his rib cage on a wooden crate smiling he picked up his drink, “Glad to see you came.” Tallen just stood taking in the room and its gloomy assets. “I’m no-”

“Noah I know, and your brothers Xavier, I thought we were here to discuss things I didn’t know.” Tallen replied crossing her arms and taking a seat opposite him.

“You mean how you escaped?” He asked taking a swig and wincing slightly as he swallowed.

“Yeah that, but I have a feeling you know more important things.” Tallen said eyeing the beer and nodding her thanks when he handed it to her. the slow burn of its ice cold contents instantly satisfying her aching throat.

“Didn’t know girls drank now days.”

“Must not get out much, huh? every girl I knew drank,” she held his gaze for a moment before downing the rest of the drink.

“How’d you do it?”

“Easy.”

“Then how come no one else did it?”

“They don’t have the smarts.”

“Who taught you?”

“How to escape? or fight?”

“Both”

“My Brother.”

“You’re lying.” Xavier’s soft voice spoke up from the doorway his rigid figure outlined by the candlelight.

“She isn’t, I was there when they sent the dogs out.” Jamie bit back finally taking a seat on the edge of the bed.

“So you two masterminds planed the whole thing?” Noah looked confused.

“What! Hell I wish that was true but its not.” Tallen laughed back.

“She got herself kicked out.”

“How?”

“I don’t know.” Both turned looking at an amused redhead.

“Legitimacy of courting law.” she replied smiling thinking of how pissed the boy had been. Noah just cracked a smile while Jamie looked confused.

“What lucky bastard got stuck at the end of your game?”

“Tyler did didn’t he?” Tallen grinned and nodded.

“Thats genius if you ask me,” Noah laughed pulling out another beer.

“thanks, wasn’t easy though, let me tell you that kid was a man of steel.” She smiles shaking her head at the thought

“So that’s why he was all pissed at the graveyard.” Jamie said shaking his head partly in admiration and partly in amusement.

“I’m sorry,” She mumbled fiddling with the beer bottle suddenly, “For getting you shot.”

“Hurt like hell but as I see it you’ve already given yourself a free pass for getting my ass out of there.” Jamie smiled reasuringly.

“Sorry but I thought we were hear to talk about how you escaped, so how’d you do it?” noah asked downing his second glass.
