PERCY P.O.V.
It'd been several months since I first started to travel with the huntresses. They had now fully warmed up to me so I didn't even get angry glares anymore. Since Thalia found out who I was she had been much nicer to me, as if she was trying to make up for what she had done to me. I had forgiven her ages ago because my fatal flaw was loyalty and I could never stay angry at my friends.
'Percy Jackson' became a common story around the camp fire as I told them about my adventures and I became the only man they really wanted to meet. When I saw their faces of adoration I was thankful that I had my black fur, because otherwise they would see me blush crimson when everyone of the man-hating hunters complimented me. It also took everything within me not to laugh my head off because I was sitting under their very noses and they didn't notice. I could tell that Thalia and Artemis were trying not to laugh too.
They all sat around the campfire because I was going to tell my next story. I took a deep breath. I was also going to reveal myself to them today, so I didn't have to stay in this form all the time and I could finally feel freer, and that I did not have to hide.
"I am now going to tell you the last part of Percy's journey," I started and I could hear them whining that my adventures were over. I chuckled at what they would think after I told them.
"Percy had just defeated Gaia in the war and finally got back to Camp Half-Blood. He was really excited about spending his time with all his friends. One day when he got into a peaceful rhythm of events when a boy was getting chased by a Minotaur. Percy defeated the Minotaur again and saved the boy. It turned out that this boy was Xander, son of Poseidon. He was really happy to have a brother to train and live with but he was wrong. Xander stole thing and blamed it on Percy and all his friends drifted away from him. The only ones he had left were Thalia, Jason, and Nico. Then Xander got sent on a quest. When he got back he was crowned the new hero of Olympus and Perseus was left in the dust. Leo also joined Percy's last few friends because he was on the quest with Xander and saw his real colours. He asked for Percy's forgiveness and Percy being Percy forgave him quickly. Annabeth left Percy for his brother so Percy had nothing left so he left himself. He knew he would miss the few friends that he still had but he needed to get away," I took a deep breath, trying to calm my emotions.
"What about Poseidon?" one of the hunters asked.
"He also left him, for Xander,"
"The rest of the gods?"
"Falsely accused him of treason,"
"So he was betrayed, abandoned and destroyed?"
"Pretty much,"
"Where is he now?"
"After he left a giant wolf, the size of me came out and bit him on the shoulder and he became me,"
"That makes no sense,"
"It does now," and with that, I shifted into my human form. Everyone gasped and I started laughing. Their faces were hilarious. They all look so shocked but the funniest thing was to see that shock be replaced by awe. Then some of the huntresses' faces turned suspicious. I gulped.
"Why didn't you tell us sooner?" one of them asked.  I sighed. I had hoped that they would take the news well and I wouldn't have to explain my actions.
"I was betrayed and forgotten by my friends and the ones I love. I got blamed for doing things I didn't even do and got left in the dust. Most of you would know how I feel since you have sworn off love for the same reasons. But with my fatal flaw, I still love my family and friends, even after all this I would still die for them. I just needed to get away," I said, looking down so they didn't see the tears rolling down my cheeks.
"Perseus, look up when we are talking to you," someone snapped. I slowly looked up, revealing my face. Their faces softened when they finally realised that I was the same man that they all admired from my stories. Then the most unexpected thing happened, I got tackled by dozens of bear hugs. I had a shocked look on my face since it was the huntresses hugging me.
"You are now our new brother!"
"You shouldn't have gone through this. We're sorry!"
"We love you, Percy!"
These comments made me feel happier than I had in many months. Then, of course, someone had to ruin my good mood.
