GROVER's P.O.V.

There is something weird about Alpha. It's as if I can feel his emotions roll off him, more powerfully than from anyone else. I used to feel it with Percy when we were connected by the empathy link. I know he is still alive because I am not a vegetable. I couldn't bare and remove the empathy link because it would mean I would take away the last bit of Percy I have.

Anyway, Alpha is strange. I swear I had not made an empathy link with a millennia-old wolf, there must be something off about it.

I walked over to Alpha who was sitting under a tree, watching the hunters practice in the archery range.

"Excuse me Alpha, may I talk to you?" I asked polity, not wanting to offend him He turned his head towards me and bowed it slightly, showing that he was listening. "I was wondering, why I feel as if I have an empathy link with you, and I know that the only link I have made is with Percy?" He seemed lost in thought for a bit until I heard,

"Do you miss him?" I jumped backward. I had never actually heard Alpha speak before, his voice was low and sort of like a growl.

"Miss who?" I asked, curious now.

"Perseus,"

"Percy," I corrected immediately. He hated to be called Perseus. "And yes, I do. Very much. I couldn't believe when everyone betrayed him. It seemed as if the completely forgot that his fatal flaw was loyalty. If he ever felt like I betrayed him, the all I wish to do would be take it all back,"

I could feel the sadness roll of Alpha in massive waves. He seemed to be deep in thought once again till he suddenly snapped his head back towards me.

"Come with me," he said, as he stretched his body and padded into the forest. I quickly caught up with him, now very curious, and maybe slightly afraid. We went deeper and deeper into the forest until Alpha suddenly stopped. He turned slowly and looked at me.

"I missed you too," he said. For a second I was confused until I felt a pair of arms wrap around me in a hug. A pair of very familiar arms. Percy.

"Percy!" I shouted as I hugged him back. I could feel the happiness roll of him now, and I was glad I was the cause of it. When he pulled away I stared into those sea green eyes of his and asked.

"Now, will you explain to me, why you are a wolf?" I asked, and he just sighed.

"Not yet, I'm sorry, but I can't relive it again so soon," He looked almost close to tears. So I just decided to leave it alone, for now.
