THIRD PERSON
"Will you stop pacing?" Zoe shouted and Percy as he paced in his wolf form up and down in front of the silver cabin.
"I can't help it," Percy growled. "There are so many things that could happen in the next few minutes and I can only think of a scarce few that are actually good,"
Zoe sighed. Trying to reason with Percy was like trying to reason with a rock. He just wouldn't listen.
Percy on the other hand thought that he had every reason to worry. He was about to talk to the goddess of maidens herself about falling for one of her hunters, which Percy was pretty sue was against everything that she stood for. He could also think of many things that she might personally do to him, that he certainly would not be looking forward to, one of which including getting turned into a jackolope and fed to the hunters, but he sincerely hoped it would not get that far. In Percy's eyes he could not see it getting anywhere better that some arrows getting shot at him. He drew in another shaking breath, and continued diligently pacing.
Zoe's eyes had to drag themselves away from the stalking wolf, for the soul purpose of his circle making being very disorienting.
"Why doesn't one of us knock to see if she is inside? Why don't we just starting with that?" she asked him and walked closer to the door.
"Fine," she heard him grumble from behind, and smirking she took a deep breath and knocked on the cabin door.
Silence
Then a clear "come in,"
Not surprisingly, no one moved a muscle. The two beings that stood outside the door just couldn't seem to get their feet moving.
"We should probably go..." said Zoe, glancing back at the now definitely frightened wolf. And with that they both slowly came towards the door, and entered.
Inside, Artemis was lounging on one of the spare beds, sharpening a few of her arrows. She looked up from her work when the pair entered.
"Ah Alpha and Zoe, is there anything I can do for you?" she asked them, a glint shone in her eyes, which the two seemed not to notice.
"Umm, no. Nothing. Sorry to bother you," Percy let out in rush and turned back towards the door but Zoe pulled him right back in and glared.
"We do have something to tell you," Zoe stated, and threw another glare at the wolf, whose ears automatically fell back and he whimpered.
"And what might that be?"
"Well, you see, it is really hard to explain,"
"And to find a way-"
"Well you see-"
"WILL YOU TOO JUST SPIT IT OUT ALREADY?!" Artemis shouted at them, enjoying seeing them squirm. "Just tell me what you want to say,"
Zoe took a deep breath and Percy made his way behind her, almost one hundred percent sure that Artemis would not shoot her hunter, which clearly made this a safer spot.
"Percy and I, needed to tell you that, we kissed, andwehopedthatyouwouldletusbetogether," She let out in a quick stream of words.
Artemis inwardly chuckled at the two's nervous energy that seemed to swirl around them. Of course she knew what had happened and what they had done, and what their intentions where, but she was not going to just let them get away with is so easily (even if she was the one that set them up in the first place), that would just be no fun.
"Would you mind saying that last bit again please Zoe,"
"We hope that you would let us be together," Zoe spoke in a meek voice, even flinching when she reached the end of her sentence, fearing the wrath of her mistress.
Artemis slowly stood, taking her bow and arrows with her. We walked closer, then she started playing with her bow.
"Now why would I let that happen?" She said slowly, watching their faces pale.
A small voice entered the conversation from below.
"Because you know that we are both completely amazing people that both definitely deserve to live?" Percy said, gulping once she turned her silver eyes upon him.
"I could, or I could not," she continued playing with her bow. She raised her eyes once more and looked at them both.
Then something the two never could have expected to happen, happened. Artemis burst out laughing.
Her laughing fit escalated quickly and soon turned into something that was not befitting of a goddess.
"You should have seen your faces!" she laughed. "Priceless!"
Zoe and Percy were now very confused. They both looked at each other, silently questioning if their goddess had gone mad, maybe drunken some of Dionysius's wine when no one was looking. Let's just hope not.
When the laughter finally died down, she turned back to the shell shocked couple. "don't worry. You have my permission. Trust me, it would do you both some good. Now go, have some fun. You may to have a chance to later,"
And with that she motioned for the two of them to leave. And that they did, they walked straight out the door and stood side by side of the front porch, staring blankly ahead. Finally Percy snapped out of his shock and quietly muttered.
"What on earth just happened?"
And there you have it. Sorry for the confusion but here is the new chapter. I will write again, and the more people I have bugging me the more likely I will write. I would also love to hear what you have to say. Thank you for you patience, it is greatly apreciated.
