I finally came to and looked around my surroundings. I was lying in Thalia's tent. I looked above my head and I literally jumped out of my skin. Three pairs of eyes were watching my every move. One pair was glowing silver, the other electric blue and the last and most beautiful, volcanic black.
"What are you all staring at?" I asked, creeped out by the expression their faces held.
"You passed out on the floor after you started to heal Zoë, as you can see she's all better now," Thalia said, in a very babyish voice.
"Thalia, I'm not three," I replied. A look of relief flooded her facial features.
"Good! Your brain still works!" she exclaimed, earning a punch in the shoulder from me.
Zoë, on the other hand, was watching me with a loving look in her eyes. That confused me. Wasn't she meant to hate men? Maybe she changed her mind when she died. That suddenly brought up a thought that I hadn't bothered to think about yet.
"Hey, Zoë, not that I am not happy in seeing you but what are you doing alive?" I asked, voicing the confusion I felt.
"I was getting chased by an evil monster that could make my soul fade, and I sort of got stuck at the edge. I had the choice to jump and maybe make it back alive or fade,"
My eyes widened at this.
"So you jumped from the heavens?" I asked, dumbfounded at what this huntress had accomplished, even in her afterlife.

ANNABETH P.O.V.
This new guardian the hunters have is annoying. He seems so full of himself and all the hunters keep defending him so he must be weak. Just like my ex, Percy. He was weak and needy, which made me so happy when he left. And then, when we found out he was a traitor I knew I had made the right decision when choosing Xander. He was so much better than Percy.
I walked out of my cabin and went to find Xander. I need someone to complain to about the guardian. He was somehow really bugging me.
I ran quite quickly down the paths and while not looking where I was going I ran into a giant wolf.
The Guardian. That was all I could think of. Great. I rolled my eyes at him before sneering at him.
"So, are you so weak that you need to hide behind the pathetic hunters?" I said.PERCY P.O.V.
"So, are you so weak that you need to hide behind the pathetic hunters?" Annabeth sneered at me. My blood boiled. The hunters were not pathetic, not in the slightest.
"Go away before I hurt you," I growled at her, trying to sound threatening but obviously failing. I couldn't stand being in front of the person who broke my heart into many pieces.
"You think you can threaten me? I bet that your just weak," she spat at me. I couldn't take it. I turned around and sprinted away without a second thought, I couldn't hurt her, even after she threw me out.
I kept running through the trees of the forest until I found a clearing with a stream running through it. I sat down on the edge of the water and watched I trickle by, just like my tears, that were once again rolling down my face.
"Percy, are you alright?" I heard an angelic voice call from behind me. I turned my head and saw Zoe standing there, in all her glory. I was still in my wolf form so Artemis must have told her about my new abilities. I sighed as best I could as a wolf and stood up and made my way over to her.
Once I got to her legs, I lay down at her feet and slowly Zoe sat down as well. I didn't feel like talking, but I did need some comfort. I looked into Zoe's eyes and saw a look of understanding glide into them. She lifted her hand and started to stroke my fur. It was a pleasant feeling, so I lay my head down and closed my eyes for a while, just enjoying the stroking rhythm emitting from her hands.
Eventually, I lifted my head off the ground and delved into my story, filling Zoe in on what she had missed. By the end, Zoe herself had tears in her eyes.
"I'm going to kill her," she mumbled, obviously angry at what Annabeth did. I just sat there staring off into space and was surprised when I found a sobbing Zoe slung around my neck. "I'm sorry you had to deal with all of this. You deserve so much better," she cried.
Once I got out of my state of shock I nuzzled my snout into Zoe's back, feeling full, with no holes for the first time in months.
Sorry for the incredibly short chapter but I will write more soon.
