Danny's POV
It's been awhile since the party and everyone has been doing damage control because the guy who threw that glass was a partner to one of Xavier's big time partner So everyone is scrambling to find away around keeping our big time partner or saying sorry to Celso.
Rea explained everything to me and the fact Xavier never says sorry.
I just finished working so I'm sitting in one of the many living rooms. I was granted a green pass which meant I could go in a bunch of rooms. Except for offices but I can go into this amazing library that reminds me of beauty and the beast.
Rea talked Xavier into it saying I'm her second in command even though I'm not. But if she dies one day I would happily step in her place. We went to this adorable coffee shop in this even more adorable town.We sat there and she explained things to me like what she did.
She's really high up in this gang world. She works with the people and goes to meetings. I could see her kinda doing that. Rea loves her job because she can be mean.
I was laying on the couch looking up at the ceiling my eyes almost closed when I heard someone walk in.
"I'm so bored" it was Rea she came in and I pulled up my legs so she could sit down on the leather couch. "You know I have no meetings today tomorrow and end day so what am I going to do?" She looked over to me and sighed.
"Plan a party" I said jokingly.
"Oooooo yeah" she said enthusiastically. "We could have a movie night, or maybe we could find an indoor ice skating rink. I've always wanted to do that" I laughed at her.
"You know I was just kidding" I said and put my hands up in a triangle and focused on the middle of it. The light was shining brightly in my eyes.
"Well, whatever it's a pretty good idea" she patted my knee. "I'm going to start on the invitations, who should I I invite?" I put my hands down and swung my legs off the leather couch and stood up.
"Can we please invite Tia, she was super nice" I said and lay on the floor The black carpet touching my pale skin.
"Yeah, she had some fire. I was thinking of inviting my new friends. " I immediately smiled when she said new friends. Rea needs to be social and create true friendships. I know she can be rude but at heart she's a good person will so much love.
"You made some friends!" I asked.
"Yeah, Hadley and Ariella"
"Dang they have pretty names" I laughed she just smiled.
"I'm going to grab my pen" Rea disappeared. My mind roamed from this to this. I have to help Betty clean out the fridge tomorrow. Cleaning and cooking hasn't been that bad so far. I mean I've got the hang of it.
Rea came in with a pen and a note pad. She sad down on a table to left of me. "So far we have Ariella, Hadley, Tia and who else?"
"Liam definitely"
"Ugh, why?" She exasperated.
"I think he's a good friend and I don't know he just makes everyone laugh" I defended Liam.
"Then I'll invite Xavier" she said.
"Come on, you know he scares me" I sadly said. I got up and sat next to her. I cannot find a comfortable spot for the life of me.
"Whatever he can watch us when we all get drunk" Rea winked and wrote down his name. She rolled her eyes as she wrote Liam but still wrote his name.
"Maybe we could invite Steele and Wren, the body guards"
"I kind of know Steele and I've talked to Wren a couple times" She wrote their names on the list.
"Well this is a good list, I need to figure out some other stuff" she grabbed her notebook and pen.
I tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear. I walked around the room looking for a book. My eyes scanned the book judging them by there covers.
It's funny how humans think they don't judge one another. They do. It's instinct to judge someone because you quickly link it to your life experiences with someone who is similar to them. We tend to be wrong about people. Humans know that. We know we're wrong.
And sometimes the person we judge, who we think is a good person on the inside they are rotten and dark. Or we see a dark person and hope there's some stars in there darkness, we can either be right or wrong.
I hope I can see stars in the people I met in this short time.
