*Jason's POV*
After Y/N had been in her room for a good two hours, I decided to check up on her.
"Y/N." I called, knocking on her door.
I had unlocked the door on the inside, so she could open the door whenever she pleased.
Of course I could've just opened the door, but I wanted her to let me in.
"What do you want?" She yelled.
"I just want to come in and see you."
"No, f*ck off." She answered.
She definitely has an attitude.
"Come on, just open the door." I pleaded.
"What?" She flung open the door.
Her eyes were red and puffy, as if she had been crying.
"Were you-" I started to ask.
"No, go away." She tried to close the door on me, but I slid through the open crack just in time.
Y/N sat on the floor and buried her head between her knees.
"Tell me." She murmured.
"Tell you what?"
"Tell me why you brought me to this...this place. I have to know."
"Y/N..." I mumbled.
"Tell me or leave!" She screamed.
I took a seat next to her and wrapped my arms around her shoulders.
She pushed my arm off and looked at me.
"I-I had a dream."
She stared at me.
Her mouth opened, but I shushed her before she could speak.
"Not just any dream." I continued.
"There was this woman, she kept urging me to find her. And she looked just like you. After I moved to Texas with Mark, I found you. I had to have you."
"So..." She said.
"I don't understand."
"I'm in love with you Y/N, all of you. Your hair, your eyes, your wonderful smile..."
She shook her head.
"That's not love...you kidnapped me Jason. That's an obsession."
I shrugged.
"Aren't they the same thing?" I questioned.
"No...they're very different. Look, just go away and leave me alone. I miss my family and friends, and I'll never love you or be yours."
She had no idea how much that hurt me.
But Y/N didn't know me. I'm not one to give up, and that's exactly why she's here.
"You're already mine." I whispered, pulling her closer to me.
"You're here with me, doesn't that make you mine?"
"No it doesn't." She clarified, and stood up.
"Just let me go home, because I'll never be yours. Ever."
She left the room.
Why was it so hard to get through to her?
*Your POV*
I didn't know where my feet were taking me, but I currently didn't care.
The situation I was in was hopeless.
I'm stuck with some kidnapper who has no clue what love is, yet he's trying to force me to love him.
What's worse is that I stay in a room with the walls covered in pictures of me.
I never thought I'd say this, but I'm absolutely tired of looking at myself.
I wanted nothing to do with Jason right now, so I quickly found somewhere to hide.
It turns out that there was a space between Jason's tan colored couch and the wall, and it was the perfect size for me.
I sat there and resumed crying.
It was only a matter of time before Jason would find me, so I made every second of my time alone count.
He was awful.
He fed me, gave me clothes, and let me use the bathroom whenever I needed to, but I couldn't stand him.
The fact that he had dared to take me from my home at night, when everything should've been safe...it made me despise him.
And he had the nerve to want me to love him, even after I figured out that he was a criminal.
I could eventually get over the fact that he took me from home, but I would never love a criminal.
The drug deal that I witnessed made me scared.
What if Jason had really pulled the trigger to his gun?
I would never have lived that down.
"Y/N?" A voice said my name.
And of course, it was Jason.
"There you are. Do you really think you can hide from me in my own house?"
"Why can't you stay away from me?" I shouted.
"I've already told you how I feel about you!"
Jason pulled me towards him and stared me dead in the eyes.
"But that doesn't change how I feel about you." He smirked.
"You can feel however you want Y/N, but I promise you, one day you'll love me. You'll be just as head over heels for me as I am for you, and there'll be nothing that you can do about it."
And with that said, he left me alone.
-
For the rest of the evening I tried my hardest to shrug off his words and forget about what he said, but I couldn't.I felt so intimidated by him.
Eventually, I managed to convince myself that a thief like him could steal whatever the hell he wanted in this world, except my heart.
But that didn't change the impact that his words had on me.
That's the end of Part 9 :)
