*Your POV*

"I just want to talk to you Y/N!" Jason exclaimed while following me into the living room.

He's been trailing me for an hour.

"Why won't you listen to me?"

I briefly closed my eyes and groaned.

I turned to Jason with an annoyed expression.

"I won't listen to you because if I do, you'll do the same sh*t you always do. You'll back me up against the wall and try to kiss me, insisting that you love me. I don't want to go through that now." I murmured through gritted teeth.

"And shouldn't you be resting? You got shot in the leg for crying out loud."

It was beyond me as to why Jason would choose to walk around on an injured leg.

He really is obsessed with me.

The gunshot wound hadn't even been professionally treated at the hospital.

"Isn't it enough that I'm pouring my heart out to you? I love you Y/N. Why can't you treat this like a normal relationship?" He asked.

"A normal relationship?" I repeated.

"This is not a normal relationship. This is not even a relationship. We are not a thing."

His expression changed from joy to present disgust.

He grabbed my arm and stopped me from walking away.

"Do you even care?" He continued to press me.

"Do you care about me, or anything here?"

"Yes, of course I do!" I answered truthfully.

"Why do you always ask the same questions? You'll forever get the same answers. Jason, I love you. I've tried to ignore those feelings, push them away, I even tried to lock them out, but I can't. No matter how much I try, I can't forget you. You've changed me. "

I've never said that to him before, but I'm positive that I'll soon regret it.

I don't want to get involved with Jason.

But the more I try to escape him, the more I fall for him.

Every part of him.

His hazel eyes seemed to regain life, and they sparkled intensely.

"You love me?" He whispered it, almost as if he couldn't believe what he heard.

I could only nod to answer his question.

He stared at me, his lip twitching slightly.

I could tell that he was holding himself back from hugging me.

Jason just didn't understand how badly I wanted him.

But I was so afraid that if I let him have me, I'd have my heart broken.

And as much as I hated to admit it, he had been right all along.

I was finally as head over heels for him as he was for me.

"No, I refuse to come with you on anymore of your fatal missions!" I shouted.

"Every time I come with you, someone gets hurt or dies!"

I wanted to say, "I'm just afraid that the next person to die will be you.", but I stopped myself in time.

"Please?" Jason asked, wrapping me in an embrace then staring into my eyes.

I would have found it so much easier to say no of if it weren't for those warm hazel eyes.

I paused momentarily before answering him.

Did I really want to include myself in illegal activity again?

Do I really want to take a risk this big?

No, I don't.

But those big hazel eyes showed me a glimpse of a more innocent Jason.

A Jason that wasn't capable of crime or murder.

A Jason that didn't exist.

If it weren't for those hazel eyes...

"Okay, I'll come with you." I finally said.

"But I don't want to see anyone else get hurt."

"Y/N, I promise that I'll protect you. You don't have to worry about anything while you're by my side." He whispered.

I don't think he understood how hard I tried to believe that.

*Jason's POV*

Our black van pulled up in an empty parking lot around midnight.

"Is this where we're supposed to be?" Y/N questioned.

"Yeah..." I answered.

"Let's get this over with."

"Wait." Mark said.

"We have to make sure the area is safe before we start the trade."

I rolled my eyes.

"C'mon, there are clearly no cops around, and the only other people that should be here are the guys we're about to exchange drugs with." I explained.

"It's just a precaution." He replied.

"Fine, I'll go survey the area. You both stay here."

"I want to come with you." Y/N said.

I tried not to showcase my excitement.

I can't let her accompany me now.

It might not be safe.

"No, stay with Mark. I won't be gone for long." I directed, stretching to the backseats and placing a gentle kiss on her lips.

"Okay..." she murmured.

I pecked her lips once again then opened my door.

"And Jason...?" She called out to me.

I glanced at her.

"Please try not to get hurt."

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." I smiled.

I stepped from the van and checked around the corner of the building at the edge of the parking lot.

It was empty, just like I had suspected.

I turned to go back to the van, but a hand grasped my shoulder.

Before I could land a punch on whoever grabbed me, something heavy was slammed down onto my head.

I sank to the ground.

Weakly, I tried to catch a glimpse of ny attacker.

All I saw was a tall figure in black.

More hands were placed on me, and I felt myself being thrown into a van.

I panicked as what was happening started to sink in.

I was being kidnapped.

That's the end of Part 26 :)
