*Jason's POV*

"No...Jason you don't have to do this - you can't do this-" Y/N tried to say.

"Yes, I have to do this." I murmured.

"I realized, what I did to you was wrong. I made you suffer, I changed you. I'm sorry."

She made an effort to hug me, but I pushed her away.

I could barely look at her, let alone embrace her.

This may be the roughest decision that I've ever made.

"I'm perfectly fine with you." Y/N stated.

"I've told you this before...but Jason, I love you. If going back home means that we won't be together, then I don't want to go."

"No, please don't make this hard for me." I muttered.

"Jason-" She started again.

"I said no!" I roared.

"You're going back and that's final!"

I stomped off, not knowing where I was going.

Not that I cared much either.

"Wait, please!" She called after me, but I didn't stop.

This decision is hard for me too Y/N.

But I know that it's the right thing to do.

I exhaled roughly.

Being a criminal always brings challenges like this.

There are things that you don't want to do, things that break your morals.

But they're things that you have to do.

And that was when I realized.

Y/N has changed me a whole lot more than I've changed her.

*Your POV*

I watched Jason storm off in anger.

I would go after him, but what's the point?

If I try to talk some sense into him, he'll only insist that he's making the right choice by sending me home.

What he doesn't understand is that by isolating himself, he'll only get hurt.

I've seen Jason's dark side, and I know that it will come back if I'm not with him.

He needs me, but he just won't show it.

I snapped out of my own thoughts.

Forget what I said earlier.

I need to track him down and convince him to let me stay.

Because he's making the wrong choice.

And I won't lose his love that easily.

But he isn't anywhere in sight.

Why had I let him leave me?

"Jason?" I called out.

No one replied.

"Jason, where are you?"

I ran down the hallway, desperately looking for him

I just found him, how did I lose him again so simply?

I glimpsed tall figure moving away from me.

"There you are." I murmured and ran up to him.

He turned around, and immediately I knew that it wasn't Jason.

"Who are you?" I questioned, about to run away.

The tall figure emerged from the shadows.

It was a male with a short muddy brown buzzcut.

He had teal colored eyes - well, he had a teal colored eye.

His other eye was permanently shut by a long scar.

He was far from ugly, but the evil smirk he gave me told me that I wouldn't want to get involved with him.

The man grabbed me before I could escape.

"You'll find out soon enough." He grinned.

He started to drag me behind him.

"Let me go!" I screamed, using my free hand and punching him square in the nose.

I'm absolutely tired of Jason's enemies thinking that they can just capture me.

I've had enough.

I'm not letting anymore of them get away with it.

I yanked my hand from his grip and backed away from him.

I started running, but not long after her pursued me.

He caught up to me and laid a heavy hand on my shoulder.

"You can't run away from me that easily, little girl." He laughed.

Or can I?

I remembered the gun in my pocket.

This little girl ain't so little now, is she?

It was Jason's gun.

There was no way I'd really shoot this man, but I would clearly have to bluff my way out of this situation.

"Get your f*cking hand off of me, I have a gun." I commanded, pulling the pistol from my pocket.

"I'm not afraid to use this."

I am very afraid to use it.

"Oh no, she has a gun! I'm so scared!" He mocked me.

"Do you think I'm joking?" I asked, wrapping my finger around the trigger.

If he keeps testing me, I'll have to give up the act.

There's no way I'd shoot him. I've seen far too much death already.

"What reason would I have for that? Especially when I'm weaponized too...?" He inquired, taking a black pistol from a holster around his waist.

Why didn't I notice that before?

I only have one last choice in this scenario.

Threatening to shoot won't work, so the only thing I can do now is run.

"I will use this!" I shouted.

"You have ten seconds to drop your weapon or I'll shoot!"

If I time this just right, I can get away without any bullets being fired.

"I'm not scared of you." He cackled, pulling the trigger of his gun.

Forget the timing, I have to get the f*ck out of here before he shoots me!

I took off, dashing away from the man.

He started shooting more at me, and I dodged his bullets successfully.

Eventually I got away from him, but not before running out of breath.

There was a stairwell ahead of me, so I climbed it.

I didn't have much of a choice in whether I wanted to or not, if I went back, I could get shot.

I had run so much that I hadn't paid any attention to where I was going.

Where am I?

A door stood in front of me.

I opened it, and saw the roof of the building.

The starry night sky is breathtaking from this view.

But then my eyes landed on something so much more upsetting.

Jason, standing with his back towards the edge of the building.

Aiming a gun at his head.

That's the end of Part 30 :)
