*Jason's POV*

Giving the drugs a longing glance, I  hesitated.

Did I really want to give up this chance to save Y/N?

Of course I did.

I wouldn't be able to live with myself if anything bad happened to her.

A shrill scream rang out, and I looked outside of the room to see Y/N being dragged by a tall man.

Wasting no time, I ran from the stash and followed them both into a giant warehouse.

"This will teach you to sneak into places where you don't belong." The unknown man muttered, and tied up Y/N's hands and legs.

"You won't get away with this." She protested, struggling against the bindings.

"Sorry sweetie, I already have." He cackled, and patted her cheek.

"Jason will come and save me, you'll see!" She yelled.

"Oh will he now?" He asked sarcastically, clearly taking pleasure from Y/N's annoyance.

He crouched down next to her, and leaned near her face.

"Well tell your little "Jason" friend that if he wants to help you, he has to get through me first. And I'm not a man to be f*cked with." He growled.

He stood up and walked away.

Anger seared through me.

That man would pay for what he did to Y/N.

I casually strolled into the room.

"There's no need to tell me anything, I heard the entire conversation." I announced.

"Oh, it's you." The man said.

I raised an eyebrow.

"I don't believe that we've met before." I murmured.

"We've never met. But I know everything about you Jason. I'm O'Harris. That's all you'll need to know about me before I bring you to your death."

Cocking my head to the side, I tilted my gun.

"Is that a threat?"

"No McCann, it's a promise."

I fired my weapon, and he skillfully dodged the bullets.

O'Harris came right at me, punching me and knocking me to the ground.

"That was too easy." He laughed, pulling out a gun to finish me off.

I quickly looked for a way to escape.

"It's not over yet." I muttered, bouncing back to my feet.

"Please be careful Jason." Y/N warned as I elbowed O'Harris in the ribs.

"Sorry, but "careful" is not a word in my vocabulary." I smirked and avoided a kick to the chest.

"Your pride is your downfall McCann." O'Harris smirked, and fired his gun at me.

I successfully ducked to avoid the first bullet, but the second one grazed my leg.

"Argh!" I groaned in pain and dropped my gun, falling to the ground.

"Like I said, this was too easy." He declared.

"Say goodbye Jason. Your time is finally up."

I stared at the gun pointed towards my head.

O'Harris pulled the trigger, but nothing happened.

"Sh*t, no more bullets!" He cursed.

I stumbled to my feet and limped over to my gun.

"My time isn't up until I say so." I smiled, shooting two bullets into him.

He died instantly.

I staggered over to Y/N and untied her.

Her face was solemn, and her body started shaking.

"I can't do this anymore Jason." She whispered.

"I can't see anymore weapons, guns, drugs, or dead bodies. I just can't!"

I wanted to comfort her, but I was angry at her. If she hadn't ran off, she wouldn't have had to see any more dead bodies.

"This was supposed to be a smooth robbery Y/N. But because of you, it wasn't. If you had just stayed with me, this never would have happened. I trusted you. I can't believe you let me down like this."

She was speechless.

"Let's get the rest of the stash and go back to the car." I muttered.

"But what about your leg?" She questioned softly.

"Don't worry about it, I'll be fine."

*Your POV*

Once we were all back in Jason's car, we sat in silence for a while.

Neither Mark or I dared to say anything, because when Jason was angry, he was angry.

"I trusted you to help us and keep us safe Y/N." He murmured.

"I can't believe you couldn't do that. You let all of us down, and because of you, I almost got killed!"

I didn't want to argue with an upset Jason, but the fact that he decided to blame me, especially after everything he's done, really upset me.

"How is this my fault?" I asked.

"If you hadn't forced me to take the stupid knife, I wouldn't have killed someone!"

"That isn't important!" He shouted.

"That's what I gave you the knife for, you have no one to blame but yourself."

"So you don't care that someone died?" I countered.

"No!" He yelled.

"Because the next someone would've been me!"

"You know what Jason, this never would have happened if you hadn't kidnapped me!" I raised my voice.

Jason whirled to me, and I didn't see his open palm until it was too late. His cold hand smacked my cheek roughly.

His eyes were an angry blaze, and I stared at him. My cheek stung with pain.

"You disgust me." He muttered, and started the car.

Mark pretended not to see the incident and stayed quiet.

Thanks for sticking up for me Mark.

The rest of the car trip was dead silent.

That's the end of Part 12 :)
