*Your POV*
There's a certain feeling you get from being stuck behind a table with a crazed and obsessed criminal.
Especially when there are men with guns threatening to shoot you at any given moment.
Jason was trying his best to console me and attack the enemy at the same time, and panic started to flood through me.
So in a stupid and reckless way of trying to escape the situation, I ran from behind the table and crawled along the floor to the restaurant's exit.
Luckily, Jason was distracted and didn't see me run away.
I rapidly moved underneath tables to stay hidden.
Loud and constant gunshots sounded throughout the room.
I kept crawling, assuming that I couldn't be seen by anyone.
Two more tables until freedom...
The exit door was almost in my grasp.
A sudden tug on my arm pulled me from under the table.
A man was holding onto my arm.
"Hold your fire!" He shouted.
The gunshots immediately came to a halt.
I glanced over at Jason.
He lowered his weapon hesistantly, but looked very upset.
The man holding me smirked wickedly.
This is not good.
*Jason's POV*
"Is this your b*tch?" The man holding Y/N asked.
I have the almost irresistible urge to shoot him right now, but I can't because it's too risky.
"Answer me." The man demanded.
"No." I growled.
"And if you call her that again, you won't like what I'll do."
"Oh calm down." He replied.
I gripped my gun more tightly.
I aimed it at him.
"Touch her and you die." I announced.
The other men in the room pointed their guns at Y/N.
"You obviously care about this girl, so it would be a shame if anything happened to her, wouldn't it?" He asked, smirking.
"Put your weapon down."
Slowly and reluctantly, I placed my gun on the ground.
I was then roughly pushed into a chair by a few of the armed men.
Two of them grabbed onto my shoulders firmly.
The main man approached me, gun in hand.
"This is what we do to people like you McCann." He laughed darkly.
He quickly punched me in the cheek.
"How do you know my name?" I questioned.
"I know a lot more about you than just that." He answered.
A hard jab was applied to my ribs.
I groaned in pain.
Y/N tried to interfere, but two more men restrained her from it.
He uppercutted me, and my head snapped back.
White bursts of light shone behind my eyes.
"Can you feel it yet Jason? The utter pain of losing to me?" He inquired.
I scowled before receiving a kick to my stomach.
I wheezed and rolled to the ground.
Blood dripped from my face and onto the carpeted floor.
"What do you want with me?" I asked weakly.
I wasn't fighting back for Y/N's sake.
I care about her too much.
"I want to hurt you Jason. I want to make you feel the pain of defeat." My attacker stated before kicking me again.
"This is what it feels like to lose!"
Another punch to the head made me slowly fade from consciousness.
All I remember is a bullet being fired into my leg before I fully passed out.
-
When happened to me?I awoke in pure agony.
My head throbbed, my chest ached, and my leg felt numb with pain.
My vision is slightly blurry, and it is deathly cold wherever I am.
I closed my eyes for a few minutes and reopened them.
My vision had cleared.
I surveyed the area.
It's pretty empty, except for a wooden dresser by the left side of the foreign bed that I'm in.
Every single inch of my body aches.
All I could think was;
For the first time, I know what true pain is.
That's the end of Part 24 :)
