Teddy PoV

I didn't know what I was going to do about Megan being a nonexistent parent, but all I knew was that I didn't want to hear the words 'Am I not good enough' from my little girl ever again.

There was a knock at the front door, and with me having already been dealing with Megan's bullshit literally only a couple minutes before, well I wasn't exactly impressed by the knock on the door let me tell you, though I opened the door anyway because I actually wanted to be on good terms with my neighbours.

"Hey Teddy, is Georgie up yet?"
"No no, he's not up yet, it's too early for him just yet, why are you here exactly Mum?"
"To get Georgie back"
"Why's that?"
"Because I want to make amends with him Teddy"
"Look, I don't think that he wants to live with you ever again Mum, now that doesn't mean that you can't visit him or vice versa, but it does have to be on his terms, because he was the one that got kicked out, you know"
"Yeah that seems fair, how's it working out with Megan?"

My palms were all of a sudden very clammy, my stomach turning in anger, I wasn't angry at my Mum, because for once she was actually being cooperative and not selfish, shocker I know, especially for her when she normally just just thinks about her and Dad, but the thoughts of Megan just fucking wound me up tighter than a bloody windup toy.

"Uh, well it was going good until about 4 months ago, when she just cut all contact with Ro, and then today she just randomly showed up at my fucking front door being all like 'I'm sorry that I left', like that's supposed to fucking help me console our upset child"
"Oh dear"
"Yeah, that's not even the fucking worst thing about it"
"Oh my god, if that's not the worst thing, what's the worst part?"
"Oh I don't know, Ro thinking that she's not good enough for Megan, that's the worst part"
"The poor baby, that must be shitty to hear"
"I cried when I heard that, it was my worst nightmare come true, I'll get Georgie shall I?"

I left Mum in the living room, so that I could wake Georgie up, because Mum seemed genuine to me, now I'm not saying she was genuine, because she did marry our Dad and he was an manipulative motherfucker, so he could've taught her his ways, but she really did seem genuine.

"Hey Georgie"
"Hey Teddy, why are you getting me up at this time?"
"Well, Mum wants to talk to you about you visiting her and how often you would want to visit her, though if you really don't want to visit her at all, you have to tell her that, alright?"
"Alright I'll talk to her but I want you in the room too, because I don't think I can talk to her on my own Teddy"
"Ok, that's fair enough Georgie, do you want my stress ball that I don't use?"
"No, why would I want to use something that you bought but never used, when a hug would do the trick though, especially if it's a famous Teddy Addams hug"
"(Snorts), alright you bloody Drama Queen, come here you"
"Thank you Daddyo"

So Georgie and I head into the living room after a good hug, we all then sat around the dining table, ready to talk about visitation rights for Georgie and Mum, because we didn't need another yelling match like what happened between Dad and Georgie, since that led to Georgie getting kicked out in the first place.

"Hey Georgie"
"Hey Mum"
"Let's get started shall we?"

Georgie grabbed my hand from under the table, the anxiety was pouring out of him, I gently squeezed his hand back to try and lessen the anxiety for him, now I'm not sure if it worked for Georgie or not.

"So what brought this on Mum?"
"The house doesn't feel right without you there Georgie"
"You've lasted this long without me Mum, so why now?"
"I wanted to get you back before Georgie but I knew that you were angry at me-"
"I'm still angry at you, I know that Teddy only let you in today because he wanted you to hear it from me, I don't want to live with you again, I will consider visiting you every so often but you have to know that I will not visit you if Dad is there-"
"Why is that?"
"Because he fucking kicked me out for me being something that I didn't choose to be, no matter how much he wants to believe that I chose to be gay"
"I understand Georgie"
