Scandinavia Tour - Day 9
Serafina Hildebrand"I am back, you guys!" Serafina's voice hollered. Her background was dimly lit as only the bedside lamps in her room were turned on.
"It's two o'clock in the morning and we're supposed to be already be checked in at three," she explained, "but what the hell, I'm a lazy cucumber."
Serafina stopped to ponder about the word. "Cucumber. Hmm, wonder where that came from."
She shifted from her bed, throwing the blanket away. "I'm going to wake the whole house, now. Hold on a sec."
Serafina exited her bedroom, putting the hoodie of her onesie over her head. She got to the second door in the hallway.
"Cole sleeps in there," she whispers, "he said he'll be up at one but hey, look who's up before him?"
Serafina laughed quietly as she pushed Cole's door open, tip toeing over to a desk. She set the camera down there and fished something out of her pocket. Her phone.
"So, I have my phone here, and there are some wicked speakers there," Serafina moved from the view to show a box in the corner, "I'm going to pump it into full blast and we'll see how this goes!"
Serafina gave a thumb's up before tip toeing to the other side of the room, connecting her phone to the speakers. She smirked before the sound of the first few notes of 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' blasted through the big set of speakers.
Cole stirred as Serafina stood on top of the bed. She waited for the chorus to come along before jumping.
"OH I'VE BEEN SHAKING, I LOVE IT WHEN YOU GO CRAZY!" Serafina sang on the top of her lungs, jumping up and down as she did so.
"YOU TAKE ALL MY INHIBITIONS," she continued, "BABY THERE'S NOTHING HOLDIN' ME BACK!!"
Cole jolted awake, pushing Serafina off from the bed and she landed on the floor with a thud.
"Wake up you lazy ass!" she screamed over the blaring music, "it's two o'clock!"
Cole wrapped his pillow around his head. "Oh God, Shawn Mendes."
"Get up!" Serafina shouted, pulling the doona off of Cole, switching his electric blanket off.
She dragged him out of the bed and left him curled up on the floor. Serafina switched the speakers off and took her phone, walking out of the room to wake Athena up. Cross that, running out of the room.
"Now, Athena's turn," she whispered to the camera. Serafina got to a door and held up a finger between her lips.
"Three.." "Two.." "One.."
Serafina barged into the room. "WAKE UPP!"
Serafina bumped into something hard. Athena.
"Oh, hi, Athena," she said, smiling sheepishly.
"I'm ready," Athena says sharply, viewing Serafina up and down. "Looks like you're not ready."
"Ouch," Serafina placed her hand on her heart in mock hurt. "I was freaking born ready!"
Athena walked out, rolling her eyes. Serafina zoomed the camera to her eyes. "The devil has left its lair."
Something was thrown at Serafina's head.
The scene changed to the airport. White bright lights decorate the halls, chairs lining up the walls. Serafina trudged along the corridors, dressed in a bright blue unicorn hoodie and shorts.
"So, the story is, we've landed in Oslo Airport," Serafina explained, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"We're going to get our baggage after this," she continued, "but I'm not going to collect it." Serafina scoffed. "Cole and Athena's job, duh."
"While we're waiting though, I've asked you guys if you've had any questions you wanted to ask me about," Serafina looked down at her phone and began scrolling.
"So, one," she stopped, "how long will you be in Oslo before going to Helsinki?"
Serafina looked up. "Don't ask me. Ask Athena. But like, two days?"
"Yeah, about two days," Serafina nodded before continuing on.
"What is going on between you and Marcus," Serafina said out loud, laughing. She shook her head as she recovered from the laughter.
"What is wrong with everyone thinking something is going on with me and Macko?" she continued, "I'm sorry."
She smiled cheekily, "but hey, Taylot Swift said most rumours are true.."
"But some aren't. Next!"
Serafina's eyes furrowed as she read her phone. "How is your mum?" she read. Serafina bit her lip, "all I can say is that I hope she's happy and you know, enjoying things the way they are now." Serafina nodded sharply before moving on.
"Okay so.. um.."
"Sera! Come on! Let's go!" a voice called from the background. Serafina looked back and nodded before picking the camera back up and walked with Athena and Cole.
"You done with that camera? We're going through security next," Cole asks Serafina. She replied with an 'oh' before the scene changed.
"We passed security! Woop woop!"
Many people turned their heads at Serafina and she threw them a dirty look saying 'mind your own business'. Athena buried her face in her hands in embarrassment but Serafina just smirked.
"And now we are looking for a taxi, aren't we?" Serafina pointed the camera in Athena's direction who just nodded and continued on walking, following wherever Cole goes because he knows everything about every airport, according to Serafina.
Serafina and the other two arrive outside where the sun is starting to rise and a new summer day begins.
Out of the blue, Serafina let out a gasp. "No, it can't be..." she whispered in a quiet voice.
She quickly shoved the camera into Cole's hands and ran into the distance. The typical airport-meeting greeting is on full show.
Serafina crashed into somebody's hug in the distance and Cole and Athena walked closer to them. By the time the couple got there, Serafina was still in the arms of the person who welcomed her.
Marcus Gunnarsen hugged Serafina as tight as Serafina was embracing him. Martinus stood to the side, watching them with a sour face but smiling when Cole and Athena arrive.
"Can we get ice cream?" Serafina asked Marcus when they pulled apart, ignoring Martinus who was clearly next to Marcus.
He laughed, "of course. It's nearly breakfast time, isn't it?"
