If only there were leprechauns
That inhabited the rainbows
Like the stories we tell our children
Of tiny green men who are rich with gold.
But maybe we just have to wait
For our Fairy Godmother to come.
If only a wish on a wishbone
Came true every time without fail.
Like the superstitions of luck
Making wishes and dreams coming true.
But maybe just have to wait
For wishes on stars or fairy godmothers.
If only such a place existed
Such a place as Neverland.
Like the stories of the boy at the window
Watching over Wendy,
Never growing up.
The lost boys could come and take us away from reality
To fight pirates and swim with the mermaids.
If only all those fairytales were true.
Tales of true love, magic, and gold.
We could escape the world,
The harsh truth and reality.
Become young again.
We would never have to grow up,
Be as rich as we like,
But-
Oh.
Aren't they just some...
Silly fantasy?
A/N comment if you're from Ireland!! :)
