(First Person POV)
"Erik be careful." I warned him as he walked along the roof edge dangerously. I wanted to lunge and to grab his hand. Erik, the stupid pianist boy for my Opera House. He was very good at it. I have been teaching him to sing better. Now his voice is as strong as mine.
"Do not baby me!" Erik yelled back at me as he walked around the roof.
"Damned fool! You might fall!" I went over and took his hand, to guide him. If he fell then I fall with him or I pull him up. He squeezes my gloved hand with a smile at me. My mask was on of course, he had seen my face before tho. He had ripped off my mask once. He didn't fear me tho. He thought of me as more. More than just a monster.
"I'm just testing my balance."
"Try using books! Not on a place where you could die!" I pulled him down next to me and gave a scowl. He chuckled at my expression and planted a kiss on my forehead. I calmed slightly at the gesture and looked away as my face heated up. He chuckled again at me and lead me back to the door where we had entered the roof on. I sighed and let him go first. I went after him and we stayed down in my lair under the opera house.
