☠️POSChap15: 1st Grade☠️

(First Person POV)

"I saw this cute boy at school today, mom! I helped him." I said to my mom after school on the way home. She gave a smile to me through the rear view mirror.

"That's wonderful honey. What was his name?" She asked me. I was 7 at this time.

"Erik! He was being bullied." I said. My mother gave a sudden sad look.

"Tell me the whole story." She said.

{Earlier that day}

"Hm hm hm" I hummed as I skipped around during recess.

"Loser!" I heard someone yell. I stopped and looked down a hall. There was a group of boys and girls who were surrounding this boy. He looked scared! He was crying too. I felt instantly bad for him and wanted to help.

"You freak! No one likes you! Just stay home!" A boy yelled. There was a series of agreements.

"Get out of our town, ugly! No wonder your mom doesn't love you!" A girl yelled. I gasped at these comments! How terrible. There was a lot of them there. I looked around for something. I saw a stick and grabbed it. I ran to them and hit the closest person on the outer edge, a girl with curly blonde hair. She turned and growled at me.

"Get out of here!" The girl yelled at me and shoved me.

"Yeah it's none of your business!" Another girl tugged my hair. I slapped her hand away.

"WELL IT IS IF YOU PLAN ON HURTING ANOTHER HUMAN BEING!!" I retorted back, my voice cracking.

"He's not human! He's an ugly freak of nature" a older boy yelled and grabbed the bullied boy by his soft blonde hair. Everyone moved for him to stand in front of me, holding the smaller boy up to show me his face. I saw his face and scoffed.

"HE IS NOT UGLY. You're all just ugly on the inside! So you hurt others to make yourself feel better!" I repeated what my dad had told me once. The older boy laughed, his name was Hector.

"How do you know? Is this your girlfriend, demon boy?" Hector asked the boy under his arm. The smaller boy had the half of his face a bit pink and messed up but it wasn't that bad! I've seen people on the news with no legs! This does not affect me. The smaller boy gave a small and bitter laugh.

"Like anyone could love me..." he said. I frowned. I pulled the smaller boy's arm toward me. Hector held tight onto his hair, yanking a clump out in the process.

"Give back our toy or else!" Hector threatened me. I hugged the smaller boy.

"Or what?!" I yelled back in Hector's face. He cracked his knuckles. I gave a gulp.

"Or we'll have to hurt you too." He warned.

"Then who is the real monster?" A voice asked. We all turned to see a teacher. Everyone was now sent to the principal's office except me and the smaller boy. We were both sent to the nurses office.

"Hey, are you ok?" I asked him as he held an icepack to his swollen eye. He gave a nod.

"What's your name?" He asked me.

"(Y/n)!" I smiled.

"Erik." He said. Erik was a nice name for a nice boy. I gave him another hug.

"(Y/n), your mom is outside." The nurse said. I nodded and grabbed my backpack. I waved goodbye to Erik. He waved bye back.

[End Flashback]

"That's so nice of you, honey!" Mom complimented me. I gave a proud smile. I did good!

Mom always taught me that everyone is worth it. No matter how badly they get treated by the world or how good they have it. They are all equal and important. That boy was an angel.
