☠️POSChap6: Tired☠️

(Third Person POV)

"I'm so tired of pretending." Alice sighed as she leaned her back against Erik's side. He was playing the organ when she had said that and so in return messed up a key and made a horrible sound. Erik whipped his head to her with a look of fear across his handsome face. He had his mask and wig on since he was still very self conscious of his appearance even if Alice already said she did not mind his appearance as long as she loves him. Which will most likely be forever. Alice could read the fear on his face. She gave a laugh.

"No Erik, I haven't been pretending to love you. It's all real and genuine." Alice giggled at Erik. Erik gave a soft relived sigh.

"That's good to know. Then what do you mean?" Erik asked worriedly.

"Being in human form all the time is tiring. It's quite uncomfortable and having to get up early and staying up late at night has been taken a tole on my body. I have to sleep earlier like Madame Giry says, I suppose." Alice ranted to Erik. He always listened to her problems. He thought for a moment.

"No one barges into your room, correct?" Erik asked with a mischievous tone in his smooth voice.

"No one would dare to. Christine is too polite, Madame Giry respects me so in turn Meg won't. And everyone else finds me rather as just good company and won't really bug me unless needed. Why do you ask?" Alice raised an eyebrow at him. He smiled deviously.

"I could stay at night with you. If that is ok with you. I know how you get when I'm not there." Erik said. Alice giggled.

"It's the other way around hahaha! You can't last a night without me playing the violin for you. And if I wasn't there to hold you at night, you get nightmares about that stupid circus and your ugly mother." Alice cooed then hissed at the mention of the unfortunate people to Erik.

"Maybe but what do you say?" Erik turns to me and smiles. Alice nodded and giggled. Erik and her retired for the night in her room upstairs. This would be the first time she would even use the room for sleep. She had moved into the room but had not used the bed. Erik hissed at the light. Alice quickly dimmed the room. Erik uncovered his face and looked around at the not much furnished room. Alice had left most of her stuff in the wardrobe, not caring to keep things neat. Erik stood awkwardly in the middle of the room. Alice took off her shoes and changed in front of Erik. Erik looked away to give her modesty. She changed into a grey nightgown, given by Erik a year ago. She moved to the bed and got under the covers. Alice looked at Erik as he shuffled around on his feet looking awkwardly around the room. Alice giggled.

"This isn't any different from in the caverns, Erik! Undress and lay with me." Alice gave a kind and reassuring smile his way. He nodded hesitantly. He toke off his suit jacket and took off his pants suit. He took off his shoes and carefully took off his mask then his wig. He got under the covers in his button down shirt and boxers. He was looking very nervous.

"No one will come in, so calm down. This was your suggestion after all, Erik." Alice said and grabbed her violin from under the bed. He nodded and laid back onto the bed, waiting for her to play. She put the violin between her shoulder blade and the crook of her neck. She raised her bow and played a lullaby. Erik soon drifted to sleep before the end of the music. Alice put away the violin and held Erik as she slept.
