☠️POSChap8: Unconditional Love☠️

(First Person POV)

Screw Christine. Screw Raoul. Screw Meg. Screw Madame Giry! I'll find Erik and make him feel loved! It's my job as a human to show that society has more to offer!

I ran down the wings of the halls. Christine's warnings:

[Flashback]

"My tutor has been quite odd lately..." She said during lunch to me. I raised an eyebrow. Madame Giry had told me about her tutor. I had never met him personally tho.

"How so?" I asked.

"He has been more...rough with my past lessons. He seems more angry for some odd reason-"

"CHRISTINE SHALL WE GO NOW?" Raoul yelled with a big grin. He was going to take Christine to shop around Paris. Christine smiled at him from across the dining room.

"Yes of course, Raoul!" Christine then turned to me and stood, "I must go now. Be careful of the Phantom while I'm gone."

"Alright." I nodded and she left.

[end Flashback]

I burst into the prima donna room. Christine had left with Raoul a by ago. I marched to the mirror and slipped through and down the stairs into the dark. Raoul's warnings:

[flashback]

"Don't wander too much. You might run into a ghost." Raoul warned me with a careful eye on me. I stopped trekking down the hall and turned to him.

"A ghost you say?" I questioned.

"He murders. He has a horrid face as well, as I've heard. Just keep your curiosity in check, kitten." Raoul gave a grim smile and left. I scoffed and kept walking down the hall.

[end flashback]

"ERIK!!!" I yelled into the dark. I turned down the tunnel, remembering each turn. Meg's warnings:

[flashback]

"Have you heard of the Opera Ghost?" Meh asked me as we practiced and stretched. I shook my head as I grunted in a flexible stretch.

"Well he is a ghost. He comes out of nowhere. He hurts people. He threatens the managers. He scares everyone to death!" Meg ranted. I raised a brow in interest.

"Sounds interesting."

"I'm serious! He even kills any person who gets in his way! He uses a Punjab lasso!"

"Joseph has sure gotten into your head." I scoffed.

"It's true-"

"GIRLS STOP TALKING AND GET READY TO DANCE YOUR HEARTS OUT." Madame Giry yelled at us. Meh gave a defeated sigh and left to get her shoes dusted. I smirked to myself as she left.

[end flashback]

"LEAVE!!!" Erik yelled back at me. I used my trained ears to pinpoint his voice. I took a right then another right then went straight. Madame Giry's warnings:

[flashback]

"May I talk to you privately?" Madame Giry asked me. I nodded with a smile. She took me into her office and closed and locked the door.

"I must warn you to stay away from any hidden passageways. It may lead to a place where you could get hurt. And I will have to take you out of the lead role..." Madame Giry said. I gasped at her.

"Why?" I asked.

"It's about your safety." She said.

"Wha-"

"You are dismissed."

I left her office feeling confused.

[end flashback]

"LEAVE ME ALONE." He yelled. I took a left and another then right then left. I arrived at his beautiful home. I came out of the doorway of stone and ran to Erik's room. He was sitting there with blood all along his wrists and arms. He was crying and he was bloody. Next to him was a knife on the floor. I kneeled next to him quickly and hugged him hard. I pushed him so hard against me. He hugged my waist as I kneeled in front of him. He sobbed into my attire as I soothingly rubbed his back and petted his head.

"Erik, I love you. I love you unconditionally! I love you so much! I don't care what others say!" I yelled with all my bottled up emotions. My eyes watered as he stared at me with wide eyes and mouth agape.

"Don't kill yourself Erik! Please!" I pleaded and took his arm. He looked at me with those beautiful and sad blue grey eyes. I sniffled.

"Don't hurt yourself." I said and kissed his cuts away. Literally. I have a power called Butterfly Kisses. I can kiss wounds away. His wounds faded but there was still blood and there was a few scars left there. I did the same with the other arm. He watched me with dead and puffy eyes.

"Oh Erik, come now. Take off that silly mask and wig." I cooed. I reached for his mask but he swatted my hands away.

"I am a monstrosity! You don't wish to see the monster behind the man!" He growled back. I gave a frown and put my hands on his face.

"Baby, you are not a monster. You are mine. And I'm yours. Now let me see your handsome face." I said with a glare at him. He stayed silent tho he looked like he wanted to protest. I carefully slipped the mask off of his face. I kissed his beauty marks. The feel of the skin made me smile to myself as I kissed them. My butterfly kisses couldn't work to heal his wounds since this was not a new wound, it was a scar. I kissed his face all over, mostly at his beauty marks. It made my lips tingle when I kissed that part of his face. It made me feel so happy.

"Do you not find my face disgusting? You are kissing my deformity for god's sake!" Erik said bitterly, sounding like he actually wanted me to hate his face! Which I couldn't. I rolled my eyes and smiled at him.

"I like the feel of your skin on my lips. It sends me nice feelings into my soul." I spoke poetically. He hugged my midsection tightly. He hurried his face within my clothes.

"How did I miss an angel like you the first time you walked into my Opera House?" Erik asked, sounding muffled from my perspective. I kissed the top of his head.
