Kayla part. 2

Before arriving at Santa Monica I went to Starbucks and grabbed a large coffee and a large hot chocolate for Kayla, I also grabbed us each a slice of chocolate slice. I left Starbucks and drove to the orphanage, eventually arriving. I walked up the cracked footpath and knocked on the orphanage door, waiting for someone to answer. After a minute an elderly lady came to the door and opened it, shouting for Kayla to come downstairs

"Kayla, this the one you were telling me about?" The lady asked, rather rudely

"Yeah, that's Isabella" she mumbled and the lady let me inside

The lady, now known as June got me to sign heaps of papers and things like that before she told Kayla to go upstairs and grab her stuff. Kayla came back into the room with her head hung low and a sports bag beside her, clearly she doesn't own much.

"So, is that all I need to do?" I politely asked

"She's yours now" June replied as we stood up

I grabbed Kayla's bag and carried it beside me as we walked out of the lounge room and towards the front door, hoping to leave as soon as possible. Kayla said a quick goodbye to June and I gathered everyone else was sleeping considering it was so late so once she finished her quick goodbye with June, we walked out to the car and got inside

"I don't know if you like hot chocolate but I bought you one" I said, handing her the warm cup of goodness

"Yeah thanks, for everything" Kayla thanked me

"Honestly it's fine" I replied and started the car up

"So, tell me about yourself Kayla" I asked

"My names Kayla rose, I'm fourteen and am an obsessed fangirl with many bands and people such as O2L, The Janoskians, One Direction, Little mix, Justin Bieber, you and of course my biggest one 5 Seconds Of Summer" she explained

"Your a fan of 5sos?" I asked, hoping she likes what I say next

"Yes, they mean so much to me and were one of the few reasons I didn't commit suicide" she mumbled the last bit

"Well, you know what I do for a job right?" I asked and she nodded

"I have an interview with the boys when they come to LA in the next few weeks and I also personally know the boys" I said and watched Kayla's face light up

"Are you serious?" She asked and I nodded

"And I'll bring you with me if you'd like?" I suggested and watched Kayla almost faint with excitement

"Oh my gosh, that'd be amazing" she replied

"Well I'll talk to work and see what I can do" I told her and she thanked me again

"On the way up here I was thinking about school, do you wanna go to school or do online schooling?" I asked her

"I don't mean to be a bother and you can make me go to public school but would I be able to do online schooling? It's just, I never had a good experience at public school" she told me

"Hun, it's fine and I'll enroll you into the same one as Trevor if you'd like?" I asked and she nodded

"Can I ask a question without sounding rude?" Kayla asked and I nodded

"Are the rumors true? Are you pregnant?" She asked

"Actually yeah, I'm pregnant and I'm having a little boy" I told her with a massive grin

We continued talking about Dylan and everything else. We also sorted a few things out like rules, boundaries, chores and pocket money which she agreed to do everything I asked which wasn't much. As the car ride went on, Kayla and I got closer and closer eventually forming an amazing friendship.
