"Mummy" I heard Kayla whine as she came into my room

"What do you want this time?" I smirked

"Well... I sorta met this guy on tumblr and we've been Skyping all the time and he's amazing and he lives in La so..." She started rambling

"Your point?" I asked, smirking at her nervousness

"He asked me out and I wanted to ask you if I could go before I replied" she asked, hope filling in her eyes

"One condition"

"Anything, I'll do anything. Please Mum"

"I have to meet him first. When he picks you up, he must come inside so your father and I can meet him" I said as I packed my clothes away

"Yes, that's perfect. Thank you so so so much Mum!" Kayla exclaimed, hugging me

"Hun, does he know about you and the situation your in?" I nervously asked

"Yeah, that's actually how we met. I reposted a 'depressing' quote and he somehow found it, so he messaged me to see if I was alright and as we got to know each other more, I somehow trusted him and told him my entire story. So, he knows about my mental disorders, he knows about my suicidal tendencies and he knows I self harm yet he still wants to date me. It's a miracle, I know" she smiled, clearly reliving the memory

"Well, he sounds great Hun but don't let him pressure you into anything you don't wanna do. And this may come out wrong but don't rush into anything" I told her, hoping she took it seriously

"Wow, that was about the best sex talk a teenager could get" Kayla laughed

"So tell me about Mr Tumblr. What's his name? How old? Personality? Looks? Family and history?" I asked, wanting to know who my daughters going on a date with

"His name is Jake, his sixteen, he's very shy and cute yet very forward with his feelings which isn't a bad thing. He's quite attractive, I mean his got chocolate brown hair, very tan skin and blue eyes that remind you of Nash Grier. He lives a normal two parent household with an older brother Cameron who's twenty" Kayla gushed

"Well I look forward to meeting him. When's the date?" I replied

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you until now but it was because I was scared and nervous of your reaction. It's in a few hours though.." Kayla replied, blushing

"Well, I better get ready for this date then" I laughed

"Why did I just hear my fiancé say she's getting ready for a date even though t's not Tuesday? Date night is Tuesday and it's Friday? Babe, are you cheating in me?" Connor panicked as he popped his head into our room

"Babe, take a seat because you'll wanna hear this" I smirked, winking at Kayla

Kayla and I watched as Connor nervously walked over, sitting down on the bed and glaring at me. Geez, he actually thinks I'm going on a date?

"When I said I needed to get ready for this date, I meant I needed to mentally get ready for Kayla's date tonight" I smirked kissing Connors cheek

"What? My baby girls going on a date?" Connor exclaimed

"Don't worry, she's told me everything and he sounds alright. But just to make sure, were meeting him before their date" I explained

"Oh, alright" Connor mumbled, gathering his thoughts

"And dad, don't scare him. I don't want Jake to be scared of my parents" Kayla said as she gave me a hug and went to leave

"Mum, please help me get ready please?" Kay asked and I nodded, following her out the door
