"Mum, can Jake stay for dinner again?" I asked mum as I say cuddled in Jakes arms on the couch while we watched the newest season of American horror story

"Again? Sure" mum replied, laughing with dad in the kitchen

"Baby, do you wanna go for a walk up the street or something?" Jake groaned

"Sure, wanna go to the mall?" I suggested and Jake agreed

I jumped off jakes lap and as I went to run upstairs I felt him lace his arms around my waist, pulling me back and turning me around

"Aren't you forgetting something princess?" He mumbled, bringing his lips closer to mine

"Mmmm, nope" I giggled and attempted running off again but failed since Jake grabbed my waist and hugged me closer

After a while of Jake tickling me, I grew tired and caved in. After pecking his lips I ran into my room and changed out of my sweat pants into a pair of leggings and one of jakes sweaters, along with my black converse. I added minimal makeup and decided to leave my messy bun the way it was considering it didn't look terrible.

I grabbed everything I needed and as I walked past Danis room, I popped my head in and seen she was awake so I grabbed her out of the bed and placed her on my back. I went back downstairs to hear Jake laughing in the kitchen with mum and dad.

"Dani, wanna go and cook some food with daddy" i asked as I slid dani onto the table beside dad

"Hey Kay, your fathers finally warmed up to Jake" mum laughed, wiping the brownie mixture of dad's lip

"Well, he's a good kid and I can see he actually treats you right unlike certain other people" dad said, anger bubbling in his eyes at the thought of last time

"Babe, it's over remember?" Mum whispered in dad's ear and kissed his cheek

"Anyway, do you kids want some warm brownies before you go?" Mum asked as she cleaned the dishes

"Yes please mother" I laughed as I handed a brownie to Jake, grabbing one for myself also

"Wanna ask Jake to come to Disneyland with us?" Dad whispered in my ear and I nodded, deciding to ask him later

"Anyway, you ready princess?" Jake asked

"Yep, let's go" I nodded, entwining my fingers with his

Along the way my legs grew tired so Jake gave me a piggy back which resulted in us gaining some ridiculous stares from random strangers but I didn't mind because Jake and I were having the time of our lives. I explained to Jake why dad was taking us to Disneyland and asked if he'd like to join, of course he agreed.

As I sat waiting for Kayla to try her clothing on, I went onto my phone and seen I had a message from my father, what a joy.

Jake,

Your mother and I are going to Australia on a business trip for the next few months. So, your gonna need to either stay with your brother or go stay with someone else but don't be a pain in the ass. Our plane leave is leaving now, so goodbye.

I angrily smirked at the message, of course this was happening. Fixing my cap, I sighed unsure of what to do. I mean, I'd love to stay home with my brother but he's never home either.
