It's Complicated

Chapter 4:

I guess Matthew must have felt me wake up and he propped himself up on his elbow. "Good morning beautiful," he grinned. I felt like yelling "Whay are you so cute?" but instead "What happened last night?" burst out my mouth. Matthew closed his eyes attempting to remember, "You got drunk, we kissed, you drunk some more, than I brung you here and gave you some clothes to sleep in cause sleeping in jeans is terrible." OH MY GOSH! Could this boy be any nicer? I checked my phone to see Violet sent me a message saying she called Danny (our boss) and said her, Jaileen and I would be out of work today. I texted back "Thank you for everything, I love you" to Violet and then turned to Matthew  "Thank you" I whispered falling into his arms then he hugged me and whispered back "Anything for you." Moments later the guy i liked was making me pancakes. "Is this how you treat all you over night guest?" I teased. He gazed at me before teasing back "Only the ones I really like." After he said that I felt the redness rushing to my cheeks. This boy was something. After eating he took me home. I walked into my friends and mine apartment and i realized I was still sporting his clothes. Wait till Jaileen and Violet see this, I thought walking down the hallway. Once i got to the kitchen i noticed Violet was waiting for me in her footsie pajamas. She looked at me waiting for the details about last night and I told her the same thing Matt told me this morning. She gazed at me mouth hanging open. "Don't tell me your falling for this guy ?!" she yelled. I winced at the pain her voice sent to my temples. No way in hell was I admitting it to her but I think she can tell by the sparkle in my eyes. "Dammit Lex! You can't fall in love with the player from the diner (or that's what eyeryone else calls him.)" She shrieked, again sending ear splitting pain to my head. Jaileen then stumbled into the kitchen, boy do i have some soul searching to do, plus explaining... Again.
