It's Complicated

Chapter 11:

****Alex's P.O.V.****

"I can't believe Matt would do something like that to you" Jaileen exclaimed furiously after I told her what happened. I didn't want to but when you come home from a date crying it's usually not a good look.  "Neither can I" Violet said putting her two cents in. I'm too furious and sad to talk so I jsut let out a groan. Matthew and me have been together for almost three months and have known each other since middle school. Matthew had been keeping this from me for nearly two weeks. How can he live with himself knowing that he kissed another girl then come and kiss me. "Woahh, I think Lex is soo mad you can almost see steam coming off of her!" Violet exclaimed as I clenched and unclenched my fist. I can't believe it we had the perfect trust system and we loved each other, or at least I loved him. Well I still love him, but he can obviously move on while he's in a relationship. I honestly thought we were going to get married. But now I don't know anymore. After I got to the apartment I was honestly done with anything Matthew associated. I even texted Danny (my boss, well ex boss) and told him I couldn't work there anymore and he was completely fine with it. End of conversation. I am going to get a job in my profession of  choice. I was going to be a designer. No not a fashion one, but the other "F" word. FOOD! I got a job as an assistant to the top chef in a 5 star resturant. My large expirence with a variety of resturants and food got me one of the top jobs in Miami. My starting salary was $25,000 and progressed $10,000 every two months. "That's freaking amazing !" Jaileen said. Violet also quit her job at the diner to go to art school, my aspiration got her to follow her dreams too. Since Jaileen's parents are filthy rich she kept her job at the diner. She only needed the money to pay for booze and admission to clubs thats it. Everything else was supplied by her parents. Her parents are even helping Violet go to art school. We are all getting our lives back on track and if it wasn't for Matthew, I would have never quit my job at the diner. Thanks a bunch Matt.
