It's Complicated

Chapter 21:

***Matt's P.O.V.***

 I woke up with the warmth of a body next to me. I was kind of scared until all of the events from last night flashed into my head. What was I think of staying with her, let alone whispering I love you. I've got to get her back and today will be the day I do so. There will be no rejection only acception.

***Alex's P.O.V.***

I hardly slept last night because I didn't want Matt to leave. But I guess when I did wake up it was too late because he was gone. I rolled over and checked my phone, "2 New Messages". One from Vi and one from Jay. They both apparently went on a double date with Nate and Pancho leaving me home alone since Matthew obviously wasn't here. I pouted before the smell of bacon overcame my body. Bacon? Wait someone is here. I got out of Matt's bed and ran down the hall quietly. And there stood Matthew, topless with an apron on and a spatula in hand. He must have not seen me come in and continued singing along to his Miley Cyrus CD. I couldn't resist taking a picture so I grabbed my phone and took a quick one before I cleared my throat. He turned around quickly; obviously startled, yet ready to attack. "Oh. It's only you. I hope you like bacon, eggs and waffles because that's what I made." He announced loudly before realizing the CD was still playing, as he went to pause it I couldn't help but laugh.

"Miley Cyrus fan?" I questioned, quirking up an eyebrow. He hastily shook his head before returning to his cooking. He served everything onto a plate before going into the dining room and placing everything on a well set table. There was home made orange juice and the table had the most beautiful view of Miami ever. "This is beautiful Matthew" I spoke for the first time in a few minutes.

"Really? You like? Well wait till you try my cooking" He said with a grin on his face as he pulled out a chair for me, I sat down and he went around to the other side. "Dig in!" He announced as he reached for the plate of waffles. Severing himself a few and some bacon he began digging in.

"I have a fun filled day for us today so eat up!" Matthew announced through a mouthful of waffles. I just nodded my head finishing off my plate and then heading off to take a shower.

*** Matt's P.O.V. ***

 This morning I went out and bought a promise ring. I'm going to give it to her as a promise that I'll always be there for her and never leave her. I'll love her forever and I promise her.
