It's Complicated

Chapter 25:

***Alex's P.O.V.***

It's been three months since Matthew and I got together again. And may I say, best three months of my life. I wear my promise ring everyday, since her promised me all of those things, I promised him my hand in marriage. "Good morning beautiful." Matthew said in his incredible morning voice.

"Good morning babe." I replied kissing the tip of his nose. He just smiled and got out of bed to go brush his teeth. "What do you want to do today?" He asked barely understandable due to the toothpaste in his mouth.

"Finish brushing your teeth then come talk to me like a human" I shouted back. Then I heard the sink go off and Matt walk back in the room. I got up and went into the bathroom, I brushed my teeth and used the bathroom then went back into the room. "So, what are we doing today?" Matt asked.

"Well I don't know about you Mr.Baller, but I got to go to work." I announced, grabbing my towel and walking back into the bathroom.

"Can't you call in sick, and stay with me?" Matthew pleaded.

"No. I have to do my job, we are getting apprentices today! I'm so excited. Plus after work Violet has an art showcase at her school,so I'm going to leave my clothes packed in a bag and you're going to bring them to me so I can change. Deal?" I rambled on and on while getting into the shower and washing my hair.

"Alright. But do I have to wear a suit? You know how I feel about suits." Matthew argued.

"I already picked out your clothes. They are next to my bag, and don't forget to match it with your grey bowtie, and your black oxfords." I yelled back to him, while quickly getting out the shower. I wrapped a towel around my head and one around my body quickly running to my room and getting dressed, I tossed one black skinny jeans and a plain white tee, with some black vans.  "I'll see you after work babe." I called to Matthew, grabbing one of his hoodies and the keys to my Honda, I ran out the door.

***Matt's P.O.V.***

Well while Alex is at work I'll hang out with Pancho, since Nate is helping Violet. Where is my grey hoodie?! My phone vibrated in my pocket and I pulled it out, oh a message from my girlfriend. "Took your grey hoodie! See you at 5 <33 I love you!" I let out a loud sigh. That explains a lot. I just put on my sweat pants and a black t-shirt, and texted Pancho telling him to meet me at the gym at 10.  Pancho and I played soccer in the gym for about 6 hours, when I checked my phone: 4:30. "Oh crap. Panch, we're gonna be late for Violet's show if we don't go shower now." I called out to him.

"Oh no! I'll see you later. Jaileen picked out my clothes and left them in her room, so I'm gonna shower there. See you at the art show!" Pancho yelled back before running out of the room and out the door. I ran to my locker and grabbed my keys and track jacket, while running out to my car. I quickly drove home and took a shower. After I got dressed I grabbed Alex's bag off the floor and ran out the apartment building while checking my watch 4:50. Good thing Alex's job is only 5 minutes away. I hastily drove to her job and gave her the bag. "Thanks babe. By the way you look hot." She winked before running inside to change.
