Soda's Morning Pep Talk

Sodas POV

"-gotta kiss myself I'm so pretty. I'm too hot, call the police and the firemen I'm too hot, make a dragon want a retirement I'm too hot!" I sang out into my hairbrush while in the bathroom.

I currently just got out of the shower, a towel wrapped around my waist. Smoothing down my hair with my hand, I started brushing my teeth with the other.

God I'm hot

Who's to say I'm not? No one because I am hot. And you know what? Steve knows it too.

I heard a knock on the door and I turned down the music and opened the door to see an annoyed Ponyboy.

"Yes?" I said but I still had toothpaste along with my tooth brush in my mouth. I held one finger up to him meaning 'one second'.

I spit and rinsed off. Turning back to him I raised an eyebrow, which I had learned from Two-Bit.

"What?" I asked.

"I just had to use the bathroom.." He
said, waiting for me to leave.

"Oh, okay" I walked out and waiting for him to get done. All of a sudden I hear the front door open and see Steve walk in.

He immediately went into the kitchen and got a piece of cake. He came back towards me and looked me up and down. I still only had a towel around my waist, no shirt.

"Sorry buddy but you have to wear pants too, I heard there was a law or something" He said, taking a big bite of the cake in his hand. I chuckled and rolled my eyes.

Walking to my room, I put clothes on, including my DX shirt. I walked out and went up to Steve.

"Ready?" He asks. I nod and tell Darry we're leaving.

Out the door we go.
