St.Paddies Day

Ponyboy's POV

When Two-Bit asked Johnny and I to come with him for a surprise, I wasn't expecting him to make us his designated drivers. 

Right now, were both sitting in the car. We have been waiting for about an hour now for him to come out of the bar.

Johnny and I, no one knows about us but I am just glad Two asked us along or else we would've had to sneak off somewhere. Right now, we were just cuddling on the seat.

A drunk laugh interrupts my thoughts and I look out the window to see Two-Bit and a lady stumbling on the sidewalk.

Johnny and I get out of the car and pull him along, the lady just stood there and shrugged, walking back inside.

He was wearing his old Mickey Mouse shirt but it had green glitter on it and he had glitter all in his hair.

¨Damn, what happened to you?¨ I asked, waiting for him to get into the car.

¨Girls. And St.Paddies day,¨ he giggles.

I just roll my eyes and let Johnny take the wheel since he does know how to drive.

¨Aye, at least today I have a damn good reason to drink. I am Irish!¨ he exclaims, pushing me into the truck door a little too hard.

¨Sure Two, we believe you,¨ I shake my head as we pull out of the parking lot. 

Johnny and I exchange glances before smiling.
