Ponyboy ends up with feelings towards Johnny

They admit it to each other

They date

Darry isn't happy but plays like he is

Weeks later he forces Pony to break up with Johnny and tell him it wasn't gonna work

Johnny and Pony drift away

Over 3+ Years go by and Darry still threatens Pony if he ever gets feelings for a boy that he'll kill him

Pony meets Johnny again and they still have deep feelings for each other

Darry sees this and tells Pony to tell Johnny it was just a phase whenever Johnny tries to tell Pony his feelings

Pony finally stands up to Darry and gets together with Johnny

Darry kicks him out

Soda helps Pony secretly

Johnny gets in an accident

Doctors say he might die soon

Pony is crushed, he runs to his old house where Darry is. Pony yells and screams at Darry because he could've spent all those years with Johnny yet he couldn't because the threats.

Pony is still screaming and throwing glass at Darry when the gang comes there.

Pony jumps onto Darry and starts punching him

The gang pulls him off and tries to calm him

The doctor calls Ponyboy to tell him Johnny passed away

Ponyboy freezes

Darry laughs

The gang starts crying and crap

Ponyboy runs out of the house with a blank face

He runs all the way to a cliff and is about to jump

Soda and Steve find him right when his body leans over the edge

Soda screams as pony falls

Ponyboy dies to be with Johnny

Steve was trying to calm soda because he was screaming Ponys name and trying to run to his lost little brother

Steve holds soda close to him and cries silently while soda is screaming
