•I think I should do more of Mrs and Mr Curtis stories, what do you think?•
(Curtis boys are younger. Pony:12 Soda: 14 Darry: 18)
Mrs.Curtis' POV:
"Happy 4th, baby," I whisper into husbands ear.
A small smile appears on his face and he wraps his arms around my waist and rolls us over.
I squeal with laughter and kiss his soft lips before sitting up.
"Come on, let's go wake the boys. We can go to the lake today."
I hop off the bed and race my husband down the hall to our three boys rooms.
"Ponyboy, Sodapop, Darrel!" I yell into each one of their rooms.
"Wake up, we're going to the lake!"
I go downstairs and start making breakfast; eggs and bacon.
"Morning mom," Darry comes into the kitchen and kisses me on the cheek, grabbing a plate.
"Morning," I smile.
Soda and Pony come in a minute later, pushing each other and laughing.
"Morning ma," Pony and Soda at the same time.
"Jinx, you owe me a coke!" Pony said before getting put in a headlock by Soda.
"Boys," I laugh, "come and eat."
-
"WHOO!" Soda screeched as he jumped off the cliff and landed into the water.
"This is how you really do it!" Darry shouted.
He got a running start and did a flip, diving into the water beautifully.
"Show off!" Pony yelled across the water.
-
The boys all laid down on the blanket while my husband and I were sitting in lawn chairs, staring up into the full night sky. (I have no idea what the parents names are).
The fireworks were about to start soon.
I looked over my family, feeling I had the best family ever.
*BOOM*
I look back up into the sky and see different sizes and colors of fireworks. The loud noises that they make, rile up the boys into screaming 'yeah' and 'woo'.
I laugh, leaning into my husbands shoulder.
Best holiday ever.
