"It seems you're still intent on causing a ruckus when someone else has their chance. Just can't wait can you? No patience whatsoever," Damon laughed, sitting down in the chair opposite Axsels'.
His chair was similar to Axsels', yet it's back was shorter and its carvings were less intricate.
"It's not like you have much more patience. That Diana fiasco was quite a messy one," Lucas sneered.
"Hold your tongue," Damon said sharply, intertwining his fingers.
"Did I hit a nerve?" Lucas chuckled.
"Give me a few minutes in a room with you and I'll make sure you have no nerves left," Damon snarled.
"Fighting already? You guys are like two year olds," a new voice scold.
"Mind your own business Migael," Lucas snapped.
"I would but your squabbling is like an annoying buzz," Migael said, his eyes bored and blank as they settled on me.
He smiled, baring his fangs.
My eyes widened and I scampered backwards.
"My but aren't you a scaredy cat. Are your petals falling off yet?" He asked, his eyes carefully following me.
"What're you talking about you creep?" Lucas snapped.
"You're calling me a creep? I smelt your filthy scent on her. Nothing can smell that much, except for your breath," Migael smirked.
"The fact that you even smelt meant you were up close and personal with her," Lucas sneered.
"Is this true?" Axsel asked, sitting up straight.
"I said hello. Nothing more," Migael said, turning to Axsel.
"Somehow I don't trust you," Damon said.
"Don't need you to trust me. Only Axsel," Migael snarled.
"Is it true? Did he only say hello? Or did he bite you?" Axsel said, looking at me.
"Huh? You're asking me?" I stuttered, scrambling up.
"Yes. So answer truthfully. I'll know if you're lying," Axsel said, his eyes narrowing.
"Go on princess. Tell him exactly what Migael did," Lucas smirked.
My eyes widened as I realized they were all watching me, waiting for an answer.
"He just introduced himself," I said quickly, trying for a smile.
But they had all lost interest, and had turned back to their fighting.
Migael walked past me, stopping into to whisper something in my ear.
"Watch your back little rose. The storms in this room are more than enough to kill you," he murmured.
Chills raced down my spine as he took his seat beside Lucas and they begun squabbling.
I felt my chest squeeze as Axsels' gaze settled on me and a small smile tugged at his lips.
Then it disappeared and he turned away from me, leaving me in the middle of library with no idea of what was going on.
