I blinked, his words echoing through my mind.

"In seven days, you'll be dead."

"Have we no say in this?" Lucas protested, snarling at Axsel.

Axsel stopped, staring at him coldly. "I claimed her. I do with her what I want," he said.

"I want her. We all want her. We are not going to sit by and watch you kill her all because she is your first!" Lucas snarled, suddenly grabbing the front of Axsel's shirt.

I felt the tension rise as the other boys stood up, thier chairs protesting.

"It would benefit you to let go of my shirt," Axsel said calmly, his voice venom.

"It would benefit me? You dare to threaten me?" Lucas snarled.

"I do whatever the hell I want! You've forgotten your place!" Axsel growled.

"Stop! Stop it! Stop fighting!" I cried, rushing forward.

I stopped dead as everyone's head snapped towards me, Axsel's eyes holding a raw hatred I had never seen.

"This is not up for discussion. I'll get rid of her in a week. None of you have any say in this! End of discussion!" Axsel boomed, shoving Lucas away.

Lucas bared his fangs and suddenly turned his head to me. "Fine! If you won't take her, I will!"

He blurred and before my eyes had even widened, his hand was wrapped around my throat and my feet were inches off the ground.

I cried out and felt my chest beginning to burn, the air cut off.

"Lucas! Don't you dare!" Axsel barked.

Lucas smiled at me crazily, leaning towards the crook of my neck.

"S-sto..." I struggled.

His fangs grazed my skin before he was suddenly jerked away.

I fell to the ground, panting.

"Am I at the wrong place?" a smooth voice asked,"I always took you lot as being civilized. Seems that was just a facade."

Everyone's head whipped in the direction of the handsome boy in the suit who sat where Axsel had sat, a glass of blood red wine in his hand.

"I mean really Axsel, I had to put your dog down because you didn't have the guts to. Pathetic," Dante said, clucking his tongue as he took a sip from the wine glass.

Lucas lay far away from me, struggling to his feet. He grimaced as I caught sight of his arm, bent at an unnatural angle, his  white shirt soaked in a dark crimson liquid.

"You..." Fresh anger burned in Axsel's eyes as he stared at Dante.

Dante smirked and blurred, the wine glass settling on the table as he suddenly crouched behind me, his arms draped over my shoulders as he snuggled his face into the crook of my neck.

I held  my breath as he inhaled my scent. He looked up and breathed heavily.

"She's fragile. Ever. So. Fragile," he sneered, his hands clasping over my chest.

"Get your hands off her," Axsel hissed, taking a step towards us.

Dante's grip tightened and my hands flew up, holding his wrists.

"Let...go. Please," I whispered, turning my head so that I almost looked him in the eyes.

Axsel watched us, something close to panic flooding his eyes as Dante leaned closer, whispering in my ear.

My eyes widened at his words and I gasped silently as his lips met mine, soft and embracing.

"You have nice things Axsel. But you don't look after them. And if you're not careful, filthy dogs and wild animals such as-"he gestured to all the other boys, his nose scrunched in distaste- "them will break your precious items."

"You should talk."

It was Lucas who had spoken, his words laced with venom as he spat to the side.

He smirked as his arm cracked again, setting properly.

"Excuse me?"  Dante stood up, taking my hand and helping me up.

"You heard me clearly. Don't play coy," Lucas snarled.

"It seems you broke more than your arm. I think your common sense must've taken a heavy flow or otherwise you're just stupid," Dante smirked.

Lucas opened his mouth to reply when Axsel's hand shot out, stopping him.

Axsel stared at Dante, his eyes flickering t me. "That's enough Lucas. We will continue this discussion some other time," he said firmly.

Lucas glared at Dante then snarled, listening to Axsel.

"I'll take her back now. If  you'll let her return," He said, dropping his hand.

"It's not my decision. Its her decision," Dante smirked, putting his hand on my shoulder.

Everyone's eyes landed on me, alert and questioning.

"Me?" I asked, my eyes wideneing.

"Of course," Dante purred.
